@ymb9shinzou743 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I do feel that it not being personal is a mantra that gets repeated by many fighters, but really what's that supposed to mean is "Don't let the personal feelings you have influence the fight" A fist fight is a pretty intimate thing to share with someone so you'd have to be rather psycho to feel nothing at all.

I am super confused why people think this is an easy win for Khamzat. Burns is like 1 step down from Usman. I mean, there's a super high likelihood that Burns actually wins by knockout. I've seen this happen dozens of times now, where you get a confident fighter that you believe in, and they have a spectacular unexpected failure. Remember Rhonda Rousey? Rhonda has knockouts and could take anyone down effortlessly, and then look what Holm did her... In retrospect, we should have seen it coming. I just can't believe Khamzat can fight at this level and win every fight. The only fighter that hasn't actually lost in the UFC is Usman. Every other fighter has lost. Even Khabib lost to a steroid using fighter early on in his UFC career, but he managed to earn a split decision (but many believe he lost).

Imagine starting combat sports as a child, learning discipline, technique, spending years honing your skills, moving through from kids classes, to amateur classes, to semi pro to actually get paid to train, making something which was a hobby to becoming the way you provide for your family, making many sacrifices from social events, family events, missing holidays, birthdays in pursuit of your dream, dehydration and rehydration, eating clean, weight cutting and finally getting to the pinnacle of becoming the greatest, being on the verge of achieving all your dreams.... years of practice, hard work and then .... This guy mauls in seconds, absolutely walks through you, your left helpless and vulnerable.... like starting day 1 all over again

I wrestled and bullied people my entire life as a kid. And one day I wrestled this friendly Mexican kid who was super smart, and super versed in wrestling. He made me feel like a little child, I couldn't do a single thing to him, he was so fast and strong. I'll never forget that feeling of running into someone who is so technically skilled and so much better at everything, that you know you'll never match them. I also remember the one African kid I went to school with, in 6th grade. We would play football, and when he would catch a pass, it was pointless trying to run with him, there wasn't any person in the school that could run or jump the way he could, he would run and jump over snow banks and do no handed front flips in the air and land! He could literally just do a front flip with no hands. Front flips are hard as shit, especially while you're running forward and jumping over something at the same time. Anyway I would probably retire if I had to fight Khamzat. The feeling of being so soundly beaten in every aspect.. It would be devestating.
