Yeah I do feel that it not being personal is a mantra that gets repeated by many fighters, but really what's that supposed to mean is "Don't let the personal feelings you have influence the fight" A fist fight is a pretty intimate thing to share with someone so you'd have to be rather psycho to feel nothing at all.

I am super confused why people think this is an easy win for Khamzat. Burns is like 1 step down from Usman. I mean, there's a super high likelihood that Burns actually wins by knockout. I've seen this happen dozens of times now, where you get a confident fighter that you believe in, and they have a spectacular unexpected failure. Remember Rhonda Rousey? Rhonda has knockouts and could take anyone down effortlessly, and then look what Holm did her... In retrospect, we should have seen it coming. I just can't believe Khamzat can fight at this level and win every fight. The only fighter that hasn't actually lost in the UFC is Usman. Every other fighter has lost. Even Khabib lost to a steroid using fighter early on in his UFC career, but he managed to earn a split decision (but many believe he lost).

I wrestled and bullied people my entire life as a kid. And one day I wrestled this friendly Mexican kid who was super smart, and super versed in wrestling. He made me feel like a little child, I couldn't do a single thing to him, he was so fast and strong. I'll never forget that feeling of running into someone who is so technically skilled and so much better at everything, that you know you'll never match them. I also remember the one African kid I went to school with, in 6th grade. We would play football, and when he would catch a pass, it was pointless trying to run with him, there wasn't any person in the school that could run or jump the way he could, he would run and jump over snow banks and do no handed front flips in the air and land! He could literally just do a front flip with no hands. Front flips are hard as shit, especially while you're running forward and jumping over something at the same time. Anyway I would probably retire if I had to fight Khamzat. The feeling of being so soundly beaten in every aspect.. It would be devestating.

Khamzat will soon be facing elite competition in these top contenders. Very soon he will not look as dominant. As a huge Khamzat fan, I want him to win and wish the best for him but he is going to face adversity.

Hate when English-speaking fighters make fun other fighter's ability to speak English. Hate it even more when its from someone who's first language isn't English. Burns clowning at Khamzat's English was pathetic. Burns thinks he's a little American boy it seems.

This presser showed that half the people in the UFC just try to hard to be funny or talk shit. it’s gotta be natural or some kind of meaning behind it. not just mocking accents or saying oh I’ll beat you up it’s weak. Just shows how rare Conor is in and outside the ring.
