Whenever objects speed up, we say the acceleration is positive AND whenever objects slow down we say the acceleration is negative. Appreciate the summary! :) Thankyou Sir Mahesh!!!

That's not true. Acceleration is negative when a body is projected vertically upwards which causes the body to act against gravity. That's why it's negative

@@jerrick9257 That's generally the case for gravitional acceleration. Khan Sir is describing acceleration in general here.

Seriously? Why would you not show how to do the second one? I've been looking for a video that has an equation that I can't do and I finally find one just for you too say, "To save time I'm pretty sure you can do this one on your own"? Why? What was the point of writing it down if I already "can do this" on my own? It doesn't make any sense, couldn't you have at least show the work? Was it really that hard? is your time really that valuable? What did you do with all that time you saved? I could even solve the first one so it's not even like you helped me there, you specifically didn't solve the hard one! Why? What did you gain? Thanks for nothing.
