After doing my research on this area for the past few weeks I can honestly say you have the best video of Khao Lak I have seen so far. You showed the more practical things I was wondering about in Kho Lak. Like what are the available modes of transportation, every other video I see no one shares how they arrived there lol. Answered my question of is there were any markets around like there is in phuket to visit. Awesome video all in all. Thanks for sharing!

Hej! Tack för att ni kollade på och gillade min film! Vad roligt att ni fick mera inspiration och längtar ännu mer till er resa! Vädret brukar vara bra i mars. Man får räkna med några regnskurar, men de brukar gå över ganska fort. Annars är det mestadels sol och varmt. Vi åker tillbaka till Khao Lak och Laguna Resort den 22 mars. Är ni där då kanske vi ses. Prenumerera på min kanal om du vill, så missar du inte när jag lägger ut nästa Khao Lak film. God fortsättning, trevlig resa och ha det gött hälsar Bertil från Göteborg!

Vi ska vara där i 2v så någon dag med regn får man stå ut med. Vi flyger dit 21 Mars så då kanske vi ses! Är första gången till Thailand för min del. Ska bli skönt att komma bort och koppla av. Mvh

Härligt! Jag tror inte du kommer att bli besviken. Thailand är härligt och Khao Lak en skön plats som inte är så turistisk som t ex Phuket är. Så det är rätt plats för avkoppling. Det finns några Khao Lak filmer till på min kanal om ni vill ha lite mera inspiration.

Fint video! Our second trip to Khao Lak was March 5-12, 2018, but we were at the beach 5km south of the city centre. We were at the Bangneang market on March 7th . . . . maybe we were there at the same time! :) Just dreaming about going back again someday. Khao Lak is our favourite place in Thailand. Khao Lak is so nice, relax and don't forget to visit the marine base (sea turtles),Khao Sok,Takuapa old town, build market, Koh Koh Kao, and other nicer beaches (10-15km north). Greetings to Ying (Yantra) at Laguna and Aan with his fantastic reggae long-tail boat.

Thanks for visiting my channel! I'm glad you liked this video from Khao Lak! Lucky you going there next week! We're going back in March to the same hotell as in the video. General advice is of course to enjoy the sun, the beaches and the sea. Enjoy also the local food. Don't be afraid to try the food in the small local restaurants that you find everywhere. The Thai people are very nice, friendly and welcomming. Be nice in return and you will have a nice stay. If you like snorkeling or diving take a trip to Similan Islands (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o7RddK14r6yVfmQ.html) or Surin Island (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7t_ZNqnypjHaIE.html). Both day trips and longer trips available. Usually cheaper from local agents than from the big international tour operators. Visit the market (biggest on Saturdays) where you also can try the food. The things offered for sale are mostly pirate copies which can be of risk to bring home through customs. Have fun! Greeting from a rainy Gothenburg.

There is of course always a risk of a tsunami everywhere in the world where earthquakes can occur but a risk of a tsunami like the one in 2004 is limited. Härlig och "flytande" video!😊 Använder du gimbal av något slag eller kamera med inbyggd stabilisering? Har bara varit två dagar i Khao Lak för typ 7- 8 sen.... Dock lite väl lugnt den gången och jag var typ ensam på hela stranden med min Trelleborgare ( luftmadrass) och min actionkamera den gången... Tomas Eriksson Hej Tomas! Roligt att höra från dig och vad roligt att du gillade filmen! Det mesta i denna film är filmat med en DJI Osmo+, som är en handhållen kamera med gimbal. Jag har nu även köpt en Osmo Pocket, som är en betydligt mindre variant. Kolla min senaste film The Dam at Ullevi! Den är enbart filmad med Osmo Pocket. I Khao Lak filmen är snorkelscenerna filmade med en GoPro Hero 3 (nu utbytt mot en 6:a). Flera scener från marknaden är också filmade med en vanlig JVC videokamera. Vi gillar Khao Lak och återvänder dit igen i mars i år. Ha det gött!

@@Bertil_Lundin Jag har en Feyie splash 5 och en gopro 5, men man måste göra nån inställning på gopron för att koppla bort ens mikrofonen annars så hör man motorerna från gimbalen på videon... Har även köpt en Feyie till min Samsung s7 och är även lite sugen på den minsta lilla DJI Osmo...😊 Jag beställde även en Dome (ca 360 :-) till min gopro 5 från nätet innan vi åkte ner till Kata Beach och det blir spännande videos när man kan filma samtidigt både ovan och under vattenytan med den!

Tomas Eriksson Aha, då väntar jag med spänning på vad som kommer när du börjar komma igång med redigering! Jag tycker redigeringen är rolig. Att försöka göra en ”story” av det material du samlat på dig under en resa eller en promenad. Jag har fastnat för Pinnacle Studio och kör nu version 22. 8 fanns med i vår första dator. Sedan dess har både datorer och program utvecklats avsevärt. Vad har du för program?
