BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
Today I'll be dedicating a lore video to the Blood God Khorne but rather than focusing on him and ONLY him I wanted to explain his influence on the world, his war against his brothers and a few other topics.

I'm gonna laugh so hard when the in-game messages read "FACTION DESTROYED: Khorne" The thought of vandalizing Khorne's front yard is something many Fantasy & 40k fans have dreamt of for at least 30 years

probably been a long time, but i had once read a fan theory that catachan is where lie the life force of Nurgle. or the positive aspect of nurgle promoting and evolving life. in a way thats not directly controlled by the chaos gods.

thank you for adding the fact about pain. khorne has no intention for torture or pain. and when innocents are taken it might fit the "not care for where the blood flows" but thats at the point of their death. the taking of the innocent gives khorne no power.

I've always had a story I've wanted to write since korne is honor as well as rage a son or father or someone going into the chaos wastes and challenges a bloodthirster to single combat and aftet winning korne offers him a place but he declines instead saying he will fight korne in every battlefield no matter what side he will fight chaos and it pleases the blood God and he let's him live since he does not care from where the blood flows as long as it flows

I doubt it. Ambush tactics doesn’t sound like Khorne’s style, Although If they do, I bet it would come with penalties, just like how Bretonian factions lose chivalry If in an Ambush stance.

I think he is supposed to be a legendary lord, but it might be interesting if he were a powerful faction summon that was just constantly enraged and thus uncontrollable once you summoned him.

@@aidanhughes6188 I do remember a generic hero called bloodreaper in the battle for the Brass Citadel, but I don't recall it having this armour. I'm thinking what we're seeing in this trailer is an exalted herald, possibly a generic lord option seeing as the bloodreaper is a hero option.

I always wondered something. The orc gods gork and mork are also wargods right? Who have a big rivalry cause one is cruel (like khorne) and one is cunning (like tzeench). Could these 2 be the orcnames of these 2 gods? Or are they truly different entities

They are different entities from what I’ve read in the lore, as Gork and Mork only ever deal with goblins and orcs

Cant help but the fiction of Khorne, is not a God of pure bloodlust and fury but somehow unconsuming tactitical rage war God. All his followers are literally blood frenzied lunetics that just really on hard hitting charge attacks with little tactics or anger control. He for me is a God that bring out the all consumed range and anger instead of fear and careful planing. Thus loss the potential of being calculated and strategic or even smart when it comes to warfare and battles.

i think i figured out how to fix the "meele infantry sucks" problem. the problem is that they die so easily to magic, and there is only one way to fix that. we need to have fewer entities. there is no reason for greatswords, to come in the same number as swordsmen. have high tier infantry be 10 entities, instead of 80, suddenly it has some staying power, it can be healed, and it wont be destroyed by magic. if done correctly, high tier infantry can be used for killing power inside your line, as they are supposed to be used, not just as a tarpit unit.

Would that not make them more vulnerable to single entities though? one of the benefits of having 80-100 entities is that even if your dragon or mammoth has 1k weapon strength it can only hit 5-10 targets at a time, if that's the entire unit it might die just as easily to one of the other strongest options in the game.

Magic isn't the issue as magic is just as effective on missile units. The issue lies entirely with missile units being ridiculously effective. Missile units can tear apart armies without putting them selves at risk, while melee infantry HAVE to be in a vulnerable position (in melee) in order to inflict damage. In addition only the front line of a melee unit can attack at a time (say 20 units out of a stack of 80) while an ENTIRE missile unit of archers or guns can fire at the same time. These two points mean that missile units inflict significantly higher damage then any melee unit while not putting them selves at much risk, if at all.

I'm not surprised that Khorne was the first Chaos God revealed for TWW3, but damn if I'm not sick of him and Nurgle. It's always them. I can only think of one time when Tzeench or Slaanesh got to headline Chaos in a game, and that was Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

This may well be me who got something wrong, as the lore is often self-contradictory, but I was under the impression that Tzeentch was the most powerful of the Ruinous Powers at the time of Archaon, having played Nurgle and Khorne against each other or something. Nurgle would on occasion be the most powerful, only to become the weakest, due to how his powers work. The only thing that seems consistent is that Slaanesh is generally the weakest, being not a strong a Khorne, as cunning as Tzeentch nor as patient as Nurgle. In Warhammer 40K, I do think Khorne is considered the strongest, followed by Tzeentch, Nurgle and finally Slaanesh.

Just curious, but since Korn is a god of wrath and honor would a follower of Korn lose favor for the murder of women and children? I get that this question is probably weird.

I'd say no. "Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it does". Individual followers of Khorne might hold themselves to various standards, but I have a hard time imagining that Khorne cares if a warrior kills a baby or not. He would definitely prefer if a warrior fought something more imposing than a babe, though.

It has taken two meanings: 1) I will fight strong people because either Khorne will get their strong skull and blood, or mine. Either way Khorne wins. 2) Just kill everything.

On top of what Noek said, its usually the one that take the first interpretation to heart that seem to the most favored, in 40k ( i know different but close enough) rando khorne berserkers will just butcher everyone and anyone.. but champions of the god tend to stalk the battlefield hunting for enemy champions to fight in single combat.
