FYI, the e-Niro largely shares its drive train with the Kona. So the "drive mode" button exists there too. As Simon McGrath already said, there's a "hidden" fourth mode when you hold down the drive mode button. The back seat has exactly the same issue as the Kona, as the battery layout is the exact same: Two packs longitudinal under the drivers/passenger seat extending all the way to the back seat, transverse pack under the back seat. No offense, but the review seems quite basic and missing just about every relevant detail, same for the Kona. You missed the whole regen spiel, including the steering wheel pedals and one-pedal-driving, for example. Another important little detail with EVs is the battery warranty, the battery being the thing that is really really expensive if it fails. Based on what you hinted about your intended use, I'd guess many of the features of the higher-end Kona/Niro models are not going to be relevant for you - HUD, Active Lane Keep Assist, Radar-assisted cruise control/forward collision warning... those add a hefty sum to the sticker price.

Try to keep your camera in focus when showing stuff. Makes it a lot easier to watch.

Should be mentioned that a brand new interior design can be found in a 2020 e-Niro - I am waiting to get mine next week 👍

Keep your finger on drive mode and it changes to Eco Plus. That's the older model as it has the smaller screen.
