Bigger doesn't always mean louder. The subwoofer will bottom out way quicker with more internal volume and will clip like hell, my evl 12 was in a 2.5 cu ft enclosure and I downsized to 2.4 cu ft and it's louder at the same frequency I tested it on a meter before

NiT8 - '98 L7s arent muddy sounding at all they are one of the cleanest sounding subs in their power class if you had problems with the sq from an L7 you had it hooked up wrong

I couldn't agree more! I see so many haters out there bashing the L7, but it does some serious damage if you set it up right. Much too often, the box is way too small for it to sound good and then people wonder why it won't perform like it should. Simple physics, people!

Just need to know how to set the EQ , leave the bass for your subs and the mids/highs for your door speakers . I have a navigator also and the stock speakers sound clear and clean .

I got it from here bro, Make sure you double board the front of the box, and add wood glue when doing so also run some 1.5 " screws incase the glue fails

The walmart kickers are pretty bad, but any cvx or l7s are great subs, now they arent the loudest on the planet but they sound really good especially when you put them in a huge box my friend had 2 l7 15s on a kicker 2500 in his tahoe in a huge box and Ive never heard any l7s get that loud! Put l7s in a bigger box and they'll go ham!!! The box made a HUGE difference from the shitty ones u can get at best buy trust me! His l7 15s were keeping up with his 2 RE audio sx 18s!!!
