With the sheer joy at finding copper and aluminium effectively side-by-side, I can only imagine the childlike bliss should you ever find their infinite-supply extraction points in a similar shared-single-lightpost setup. That'd be pretty neat to see. That said, I'm loving watching this little ocean-floor scientific black-ops base grow. Lead on to cloned scientific immortality, Skye! Once that immortality gene is discovered, I have no doubts that it'd be you and Picture as the first to receive it's glory.

Beavers in the Abyss is when the beavers flood the entire map. Beavers can be considered a protein harvester.

Yay! like half an hour after watching the first one there is an update xD I like how you have clearly thought about the game a lot and about teaching us various tricks, plus you are using the cuts very well, as far as I can tell, to cut out the boring waiting parts. Cannot wait for the next episode!

You know Skye, the way you handled the food problem at the begining (by giving your crew more cheap food) reminded me of a joke: The pirates are stuck in the open sea without wind and their food situation is dire. The crew wants to mutiny. The captain comes out of his cabin to addres the crew regarding the food problem. "Gentlemen, regarding the food problem, I have good news and bad news: The bad news is that we only have sh1t for food." There was much unrest. Crew member asks (because there is always one): "And the good news???" Captain: "There's a lot of it."

One thing I noticed on ny map, you can add the recreational buildings, and they will give the bonus even if they aren't powered

future reference, you can put coal extractors on a separate line to avoid making the air quality bad for the rest of the structures

...I do admit the names of the habitats are a touch confusing, one would assume an 'abundant' habitat means it has the most creatures to harvest at a given time.

The consumption is 50%LQ and 50%HQ im guessing. So off of the 26 consumption only 13 gets consumed. Crew needs 13HQ which you dont have, hence the 9 malnourished crew members. The reason your food is going up is because you have 7 excess LQ.

Yes, now this is the way to play it. I watched RCE fool around and while that is fun to see whether or not a game has some potential, this series will actually show what the game can do and whether it's worth purchasing. Thanks for that Skye, and also hope you had a good birthday!

The food count must be what you are making above the need, so it will still go up.

Aloha. As far as i understand it, there is might be a % bonus on the produced stuff. Guess it depends on how happy your ppl are and how far away from the base hub the structure is?Just a hunch. You might check that out for us.

Even tho there seems to be a bit of problems here and there with some kinks that need to be ironed out it sure seems to be a solid game so far for a early access title.

Is it net food per day? As in 46 food produced per day, 26 food consumed per day, net +20 food per day?

I think there is a story .. but the progression is very slow so we haven't found much of it yet :/

Perhaps the food produced is actually 46 per day, but you consume 26 so you only produce 20. The game could be correct and just not giving you all the information needed.
