it's all about bullshit, they inducted the paul butterfield band after what?, but the greatest musicians in that era played with butterfield, who was incorporating jazz, and invented the whole san francisco music scene, every guitar player took lesson's from bloomfield;, santana, garcia, cippollini, and who took dylan electric...

In my opinion, it doesn't get any better than 'Against The Wind." It has a good beat, sad yet thought provoking, and taught how heart breaking it can be to lose the woman you love. Truly a musical masterpiece. Congratulations, Bob Seger. Sorry it took so long to get you the recognition you deserve.

I grew up riding in my dad's Cadillac through the California and Nevada desert listening to this album on 8 track. This was my introduction to Rock and roll at the age of 7. I still listen to that album at least once a week on cassette in my truck LOL.

First time I heard Bob seger was in a friend's house around 1983. His brother was given a cassette of against the wind by one of his friends who found it in a second hand car he bought.... The start of a 40 year + love of brilliant music and story telling through album after album of some of the greatest songs ever written...

My Boys MICHIGAN...Bob was it he hopped the fence to play at our park dances, places like Green Lawn Grove,Whitmore lake A2 (Ann Arbor to the rest of you.) I was there when he recored in 69 Rambling Gambling Man Glenn sang backup vocals I was in the background. Night moves, hot summer Detroit Nights..Roll me away Bob...yoou are it with dignity, sweet awesome and a hero to all us Michiganders and Kid does wonderful things for us here in Detroit too......Love you bob.

Two of my Detroit heros!!🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍❤❤ We grew up with Bob, he actually played at my big sister's high school dance in Rochester in the early 60s. That's how long we've loved Bob & his bands. I'm so happy that Kid was able to give the award Bob more than paid his dues for.

I just saw Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band on May 25, 2019. Bob and his band was exceptional. I don't know the words to say how great the concert was. He sounded as good as he did back in the day. It was one of my greatest nights. My 3 year old granddaughter loves him and the band. She loves to dance and sing Old Time Wock And Woll. I love Bob and my Sierra so much. I never thought she would remember it, but first thing the next morning she ran in and said, Grandma, can we listen to Bob Seger? Of course I was delighted!! And we did!!! 😹😹😹

Bob Seger! My most favorite music artist of all times.. named my dog seger. Its like i would love to name another dog seger, although just like bob seger there is only one. My cousin lisa Rogers introduced me to bob seger at approx 8yrs old give or take a yrs.. RIP lisa... i love the way beautiful loser goes right into traveling man. turn the page, old time rock and roll, night moves, come to papa! lost goes on.. cant really chose a favorite song.. They fit in many situations in my life. sun spot baby 😜.. although still the same sums me up. like the song was wrote about me. I've groan older now! Although I'm still the same.. Thank you Bob Seger# I've sang with you on many occasionions.. weekdays and weekends. lol

Bob and I are the same age, I have seen him play with the "last heard" around Michigan way back in 64'... he gave of his time to charity for free... he was and is just a great guy... it's too bad the American dream had to die with no one following his great lead.

I was with my girlfriend in the 60's and I think it was Oakland University and we spoke with you, as you were going to do a charity concert as she was on the charity board ... I think I also saw you guys before once in East Tawas, MI . I'm old and the mind isn't what it was ... I went to High School with Scott Richardson, sang with the SRC (Scott Richard Case) played at Mt.Holly... Sadly it seems I was exposed to Dioxin Poison (Agent Orange) in Vietnam, (according to the US VA) ... I'm dealing with cancer, heart issues, Peripheral Neuropathy and the list keeps growing... my poor wife. I took her to the states (She's Australian) and we drove by the old Grande Ballroom ... great days, even the Birmingham Teen Center... god I'm old! I will see what I can do about posting to you...Ken

I was raised on Bob Seger's music. Mom would crank it up and dance around while cleaning the house. Dad always had him playing while he was tinkering in his workshop. Bob Seger's music would be the soundtrack to my childhood.
