14:26 I agree with Cee, ass whoopings ain't gon' change anything. The best it can do is omit the child to doing the things they wanted to do anyway, cause resent towards the parent cuz the child don't understand the meaning of parental discipline and only see it as a form a harmful punishment or worse, have a child that ignores the discipline it received overall and still do the devious activities to spite the parent. Other results can be that the child had fear of the parent and only move in the right because of that fear but that will result in a grown up being fearful for the rest of their lives.

And Kidd is oblivious to the fact that Riley got his ass whooped throughout the entire series! At least one episode a season you heard Granddad whooping Riley... And it didn't change NOTHING!

They think they’re indestructible but what happens whenever they cross paths with dangerous people and get beat then! The ass whoopin is to teach this one lesson: No matter how big you think you are, there is always someone bigger than you.

There is definitely a time and place to beat a kid. Like when grand dad gave that mom his belt because her kid was making a scene. Kids like that deserve a beating to straighten them out. It's not like they need to be beaten every day, just one time and they will remember not to act up

I definitely agree. Least part way but it feel like it comes down to the individual child and if that form of discipline works. And lol I do sometimes make jokes about kids needing to get their ass whipped but to me it'd be somewhat better if there was more talking and logic involved like cause and effect and love involved with the punishment that just straight up hitting. THAT'S abuse. And especially if it don't change a thing.

i never stopped watching cartoons. i also never "started" watching adult shows. i always watched both. i never went "cartoons are for kids so as a kid that is all i will watch" i just watch whatever interests me. sex and the city came out in 97 when i was 14 and i watched it from day one.....grew up on i love lucy, bewitched, oz, living single, martin, as well as the kid shows jem, saved by the bell, and full house

Junior high in the 80's you got hit with the paddle made from the woodshop teacher with the hole drilled in it and swung by the schools security. Big ass dude too! Get paddled or go home for 3 days/parents notified..Always took the paddle :) My ass is still sore!

On September 18, 2019, it was announced that the reboot had been picked up with a two-season order for WarnerMedia's then-upcoming streaming service HBO Max. It was also announced that McGruder would have returned as showrunner and would have serve as executive producer along with Norm Aladjem for Mainstay Entertainment as well as Seung Kim and Meghann Collins Robertson. The series would have premiered with a 50-minute special. Each season was set to consist of twelve episodes On February 3, 2022, it was revealed that the development of the series had been cancelled. However, it was reported that Sony was looking at alternative options for the series.

Bro chose the worst time to hop off the porch and be grown. Wasnt no good shows on regular TV and cartoons was popping off. Boondocks, Naruto and Avatar was different. Martin was over and Two & a Half Men was the only show people was watching - thats how you know its bad
