Now you see why soccer is called football, thats pure skill
@joules_sw9 ай бұрын
Sometimes skills are not very efficient but they look cool hehehe, many of those things have elements of freestyle, sometimes you see that on Streety soccer but africans are the hyperbole doing that. Despite some of those are really cool and they success out of the unexpected situations they are, I would tell 100%most of those things would not be effective against pro defenders because they mostly stay on their feet and take the right moment. Very cool tho, some of this would be really effective because you won't expect it hahahahah

I agree, with these kind of skills, if you dont already know the basics of using things like momentum and footwork and how to take it past people without tricks, the tricks wont help you, but if you already know that stuff you really can do some crazy moves and beat people with them, at the end of the day its all momentum, using angles, creating gaps, and illusion of intent(fakes)

@@jacksmith4460 exactly, and creativity is also valid, I mean, at the end what matters is that it works hehe

Agree all you need is a deadly body feint, la croqueta and stepovers
@joules_sw9 ай бұрын
@@kafu2k801 I mostly use la croqueta, reverse elástica and cruyff turn. Those are my favorites, Easy and quick to take me out of troubles cause I play on the midfield, I try to master basic stuff instead of getting too extra

Moves like this are about 2 things, either 1) flexing showing off (most of these are that) and 2) To use anything like this effectively , its usually about creating confusion in the opposition, These games are about entertaining the crowd more than winning. I used to use the standing on the ball thing, just to get the defender thinking "wtf?" especially if you just bring it suddenly, you have to have your next move already in mind though so you can hit the next move whilst their brain is saying "wtf?", I also some times do a silly leg shake thing for the same reason, usually followed by a sudden change in direction. This actually works better against good defenders than against bad ones. A good defender is more likely to think or even say "WTF?" I remember once doing the leg shake thing to someone just to get him to back up and create an angle I could take , he said "where are you going Jack?" I said "here" and found my angle and banged it in. Defenders dont train for this kind of stuff so it works as a great distraction. I have met good defenders that this does not work on at all. With those guys you have to make them think you are going to do one thing when the whole time you plan to do another, and even with some of those guys it might not work.

Very similar to WWE (fake wrestling), it would therefore be fake soccer, not a real competition!
