Here's the thing. We weren't depressed without a phone. We were better off. All thise friends jumping around for your birthday don't actually come over to celebrate with you. They stay home and give you a 5 min phone party with your other at home, long distance friends. There is no actual physical contact nowadays. It's not better. It's worse. It's just that you get instant gratification with the phone without any effort. It's a very shallow and meaningless existence but it's easier and most people are lazy. No actual human connections are made.

I never knew what happiness felt like… I think I may be suffering from happiness right now! All the symptoms are present. I…I feel my face moving. My mouth just opened without me even being hungry. Am I smiling? Smiling hurts! This video is the only thing I have ever seen that didn’t suck! I’m going to make them play this video at my funeral (if I ever die). TLDR; That was frelling AWESOME!!!

I love hearing Zoe cover KoRn songs because she has an intensity that most people don't bother to put forth in their covers (aiming for accuracy without the intentional emotional grip laid out by the original artists), but hearing one of my top NIN songs covered just now.... I don't have words to express how excited I was to put this on repeat a few times after discovering it just now and sing along with Zoe. I might love this more than "Freak on a Leash" (which I absolutely LOVE).
