We had a great experience at carnival with our kids. There are many locations in Salvador for carnival. Tonight we went to Farol da Barra on the beach in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. We ate, laughed and danced to amazing Brazilian music. Live artists sang to massive crowds as they passed by on huge floats.
The best part was having our neighbors show us the best way to experience carnival with kids. They are native Brazilians and skilled carnival participants. They made sure we were happy and safe. We parked our car in a nearby neighborhood and took a free bus to the party. There were tons of costume stands and food vendors everywhere. It was fantastic!
