Trains at Par, CML - 6/8/16

Күн бұрынIn this video I visited Par station which is on the Cornish Main Line and also the junction for the Atlantic Coast Line to Newquay. Services are seen here by Great Western Railway and Cross Country.
I really enjoyed my time here at Par. I saw both green HST sets (one had a renegade power car 😂) and the other was a full set. I got a brilliant load of tones at the beginning from Captain Smash who is known for blasting tones to spotters so I was happy with that. Plus just the general experience here was great. Best station I've done in Cornwall so far.
My next station is Bodmin Parkway so do keep an eye out for that one. I look forward to sharing that with you.

Love that shot at 14:37 . As a kid in the late 70s I can still visualize a Class 50 from Penzance to London coming around the bend on a hot Summer's Saturday morning to take us home from our summer holiday . A great sight and great sound .

Class video here, I really enjoyed it so much. The legendary driver with the nine tone, the green HSTS, the voyagers etc. I can't fault this video at all. Can't wait for the Bodmin video coming later :) x Great work Kieran :D

Great Video, that's interesting I saw the same GWR hst just a few days before you and it had an old blue one on the rear instead of the GWR 43 005, they must have swapped the blue 43 with the green hst only a couple of days ago. They seem to keep swapping and mixing up the green sets! Have liked :) Enjoyed watching.

Yes they have been doing that to give assessments to the green power cars although 187 has been subject of various breakdown issues lately too. Glad you enjoyed the video mate. 😊

Awesome Video as always Bud :) I don't know whether you know this the Newquay - Dundee service use to be operated by an HST I travelled on it once with family from Newquay - Birmingham New Street back in July 2010.

+Train Gamer02 Thanks Fyn. Captain Smash is a driver for GWR who I believe covers the Penzance to Exeter route. He gives amazing tones to spotters when he sees them. 😊

+TTS 25 Well it was graffiti. It happened at Laira depot I think where people just trespassed and vandalised it.

They're probably just people who find that stuff entertaining. It's happened to various freight cars and locomotives before as they're the easiest targets.
