Maybe he's better than Lyndon Dykes - he can't really be any worse. Imagine Scotland's main 'goal threat' being an Australian who plays for QPR - currently 20th in the EPL (the corporate name for the 2nd division). An embarrassment.

@@isaywhatithink1223 He's garbage. 9 goals in 35 appearances might sound in the ballpark for a Scotland #9, but realistically it's nowhere near good enough, given the lack of additional support. Obviously, it isn't Lyndon Dykes' fault that McGinn and McTominay are the only two international teammates chipping in with anything of (occasional) note, but you won't win many games if your main goal threat*is only scoring at that rate. That's the facts - NOT GOOD ENOUGH. He's worse at club level - 4 goals in 34 appearances this season. He's had more cards than goals. Look at the career he's had prior to the dizzying heights of QPR - Livingston, QoS, and a few Australian teams. That's what we're going to the Euros with. Scotland are kidding themselves if they think this is going to be anything other than yet another shambles/early exit. I'm not offering any answers - just a bit of realism. *McGinn is actually a bigger threat, with 18 goals in 63 appearances, but who's going to walk around the middle of the park if McGinn was playing out of position? (Try as I might I hadn't forgotten about Ché Adams, but there's no point bringing him into the conversation - he's worse than Dykes). I hope you're not going to Germany - though it's lovely, and in my experience, the people are fantastic.

The scots seem to think possession is everything, free kick 1/2 way in opp half and the ball ends up with the goalkeeper, infuriating

@@theend9494 it's infuriating, and it doesn't have to be like this. Clearly we're not blessed with talent, but not having a go at Northern Ireland, at home, in a friendly, is unforgivable.

Northern Irish fans really just want to be English .. maybe they should find their own identity
