I have read the judgement against the old man(Nzioki) and I can conclude that he was rightly convicted. The 15 years old girl named him. DNA cannot be relied because the child may not be his, since the girl was engaged in illicit sex with multiple partners. The axe fell on Nzioki, either bacause of bad blood with the community or area chief. The old man therefore carries the cross of all others.This cases are rampant in villages where underage girls engage in illicit sex but if such a case is taken to court, the law will just catchup with anyone of the partners. Sorry for Nzioki.
