Kilian Jornet - How do I train (again and again)

Kilian Jornet started training the day he was born. The mountains were his playground and without realizing it he created his own training philosophy that is based on repeating, trying and failing.
Now Kilian trains outdoors seven days a week with a clear mantra: “If you don’t have pleasure when you train, you will never improve.”

I agree, the artistic intent is to underscore the repetitive nature of training itself. I thought it was cool. Even reminded me a bit of a Daft Punk song looping the same sample of Killian talking with the music, lol

He should try to conquer the peak of Mount Hkakabo Razi at the Myanmar-China border. The grueling trip beat the hell out of National Geographic's best team of proud mountaineers. Many other mountaineers died trying that mountain. I really want to see Kilian try and defy all odds by going up there and coming down safely.

That's true. Me too. But most people who become successful athletes slowly build up the intensity and their body adapts. He was fortunate to grow up in an environment where his talent could be expressed from an early age, so he was building up tolerance to training from an early age.
