There's one season of Kill La Kill that had a 2 cour run and this is kind of nitpicky but it's senketsu not getsu. Getsu would mean the name has something to do with the moon rather than blood. There's not really any room for anything more with the story except maybe an OVA/ONA(whatever it's called these days) and even then it'd be 1 or 2 at most. When a story has gotten a proper ending that's not open-ended it can ruin something if you force an extra season.

Agreed. However I did not cry. The Anime was... outstanding... and I use that world rarely, especially towards anime, because I'm not a hardcore anime fan. I once despised anime, but after watching Kill La Kill I refuse to watch any anime that is not as good as Kill La Kill, but let's be honest, there's no anime as good as Kill La Kill.

They said Season 2 is in the works, but that was in December 2014. Now some may be thinking "Exactly! Only a few months have passed for a new season to be out!", which is precisely why I'm saying that we should have some more information on this "confirmed" Season 2. Many are saying that Season 2 is unnecessary because Kill La Kill ended perfectly, however I beg to differ. No, not about the ending being perfect, but about the Season 2 being unnecessary. Well it's not NECESSARY but it would be great to see if Trigger can come up with anything that can match or even top Kill La Kill's previous content. Ah, but I did not share the reason why I started watching THIS anime. Well, I was regularly strolling down the internet street, trying to find a way to kill boredom. Well I have about a dozen video games on my computer, but all of them utterly pointless as those that I truly want to play I cannot run, but back to the Anime. Since I play Warframe (Rarely), I was on KZfaq trying to find something about this Video game. However what I managed to find was about to change my opinion about animes. I found something about a group playing Warframe and the video was titled "Warframe - Kill La Kill Raid". At that moment, Deja Vu Struck me. I have read about this anime some time ago, but since I despised anime I didn't pay much attention to it, as I thought it'd be another anime full of half naked girls fighting. But at that day something unknown to me made me look online for a dub of Kill La Kill. So I watched the first episode, then I watched the second, the third, the fourth, until I reached the end in about three days. I realized, at about episode 3 that this was not JUST an Anime full of half naked girls, it was much more than that. It somehow included the sexuality of most animes in it but that it fits perfectly. I'll make this shorter you have a life too, since I found it so good and so great after I watched every episode the usual me kicks in and wants to watch again, but I won't feel the same thing I felt the first time I watched this anime. So I denied myself that and realized that, no matter how fun things are, how perfect they appear, they still have an end, as do all things. Since this anime helped me realize that, and also made me have the time of my life, It holds a very special place in my heart. As I have said before on some other video, if something is my favorite, it's either really good, or EXTREMELY good. But, that's just my opinion. One more thing, kudos to you for reading this entire comment. I know some will, they have too much time on their hands.

Kill La Kill also has a special place in my heart, despite it being the second anime a sat down and watched. Death Note was the first but Death Note isn't close to be as awesome as Kill La Kill.

EscCtrl In my honest opinion, I'd say that the only anime that is as good as (maybe even better) Kill La Kill is Sword Art Online, both seasons. I just sometimes when I watch it I feel like the characters made wrong decisions. Still, that anime is as good as it gets in 2015. The Story is great. In case you didn't watch it, I won't spoil anything. I do recommend that you watch both seasons. If you watch dubbed animes only, like me, SAO 2 isn't dubbed completely. there's 3 episodes left. Then, after that, we might see SAO 3 as early as the end of 2015 or as late as summer of 2016...

When the show first came out, I was put off by what I had saw and was going to skip it without watching an episode. After a friend recommended it more strongly, I watched it and thought it was fantastic. It has a small barrier to entry, but is still one of my favorite shows.

It is good, and it's because of how much it rips into anime tropes in general that does it for me. If they don't feel comfortable with mild nudity then it's their loss XD

Seriously? If you listen to the lyrics you can see that senketsu is the raper and Matoi is the lead singer. the combination of them both is what makes this song have character. Its not only about how it sounds.

I'll admit the fact that it's a duet does make the song have more character, but as a song I prefer this version because when I am waiting on the bus with my limited list of downloaded songs I prefer to just listen to the ones that I think sound good rather than consider which ones have the most character.

The show is worth a watch, definitely. Good, funny parody of the Mahou Shoujo genre that has a satisfying, albeit simple plot. Funnily enough, the VA for Ryuko seems to almost exclusively do Mahou Shoujo series, and she will voice Jupiter in the new Sailor Moon.

Its quite basic but its understandable....I personally don't want a plot thats something like Guerren Lagann where somehow a bunch of robots can destroy entire galaxies just by fighting.....(its ridiculouus)..... also i don't want an anime thats so much of a mindfuck you can't understand it.....I think its perfect that Kill La Kill has a simple and understandable plot.......I mostly watched Dubbed anime to save me from spending hours reading...but Kill La Kill was hailed as one of the best anime of last year and i thought i'd check it out......its in my top 5 anime i've ever watched (about 40 over the course of the past 2 years)

I find it hard to believe anyway who dislikes Gurren Lagann for being ridiculous can consider Kill the best thing they've seen It's the same creative team, just reformed as a new studio, same animation style, heck the sailor suit the protagonist wears has a face that looks like it belongs on a Gunmen. Kill la kill is just Gurren Lagann style action without the plot. I know there are people who like action and don't care about plot, (how else would Micheal Bay keep getting work) which is fine but then don't sit there and say Kill is the best thing ever and then hate on it's predecessor for the same reason you seem to like Kill la Kill.

Gurren Lagann is over the top action and doesn't have an understandable plot its people in robots fighting other robots and somehow they get into space ....after a 10 year time skip or something like that....then as i say robots destroying Galaxies....maybe its just i got bored with Mecha anime years ago
