When the stalker charged, the Grenadier could've point blank shot him. Guard allows you to do that.

Advice for Breacher Player: - Utilize your Blitz and Overwhelm Tactical Ploys. Blitz works great on Axejack. - Utilize Cover/LOS better, the Gheistskull and Sergeant at Arms were needlessly exposed - Breachers have a free ability called Breach and Clear that gives GA2 to two models. e.g. Void-Jammer and Gheistskull, Gheistskull moves in, Void-Jammer activates Detonate - Utilize the Grenadier better. Multiple Kroot groups could have been naded, with the CQC rules in play, you get bonuses for Blast.

Also, axejack gets a 5+ feel no pain for the whole round after he charges. So there was maybe a 50/50 chance he could have saved two wounds and applied the second crit and survived the fight.

@guerilla Miniature Games You've been playing these games where you do not generate CP after the Leader has died. Where in the rules does it state this is the case?

It’s a legacy rule from core KT18. Caused conservative play with leaders which was undesirable. They changed the rule in KT21. CP is generated in two ways. 2CP in the ‘select a kill team’ step of matched play if the kill team has a leader (a given). The second is 1CP generated in the strategy phase of each battle round (irrespective of the status of the leader). In practice you have 3CP in battle round 1, and receive 1CP each battle round thereafter for a total of 6 (unless your faction has unique abilities/ploys to produce more).

I just noticed you are using 12 Kroot operatives, but the kill team should be 11 operatives. 1 leader and 10 operatives according to the ITD rulebook. Or am I missing something here?

Leader, x8 specialists, x1 warrior, x2 hounds. One operative too many for Kinband. Easy to overlook with that killer paint job. A leader plus 10 operatives is the requirement. No more than one of each specialist and no more than two Hounds is the limitation. Go two Hounds where the mission/TacOps favour Hounds, go two Warriors where it doesn’t favour Hounds, and go one of each when you need more activations to avoid the GA2.

i think u cant open door w hound(is a mission action and dog cant do mission action) and u cant place navis door in wallwout a faq because basic wall rules say u cant attraverse them if the wall is not a hatchway so it need a faq to work.

The Studio guys use the Breacher to cut walls in their battle report, so it’s clearly as intended. As for Hounds, KILLZONE actions afaik aren’t mission actions, they’re actions specific to a KILLZONE not a mission.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames check p68 of Into the Dark rule book. In GW fashion it’s easily overlooked. Caused mayhem in forums for a while. Operate Hatch is stated as a Mission Action to change the status of the Hatchway terrain feature from closed to open or vice versa.

It doesn't seem like there's many Breachers stacking of Abilities, combo's, setting up for successes. & so many mistakes in the game in Kroot favor, not the least of which is [apparently] the Kroot having 1x extra KT member, plus Hounds can't open Hatches. Huge swings with the lackadaisical ruling. This, for all intents & purposes, was a Breachers Win. Blaster was here... & can only otherwise complain about holding back 'This is my hallway' Breacher dude too long!

Yes, but the Navy Breachers have not been played to their strengths. I don't remember the breacher player using breach and clear once during the game. It can be used every turning point. For example The hatchcutter could open a hole in a wall, and the grenadier could move and toss a demolition charge, or the gheistskull could be moved into position and then the void jammer could detonate it.
