I do feel like Blades shouldn't have APL3. Instead, say for Dire Avengers, I think a more elegant mechanism would be to let them Shoot 2x per 1 Action, with the 2nd one maybe being at or -1 Attack or -1 To Hit. Maybe a bonus to Aeldari Dash Action Movement, across the board. APL3 seems really high for the Striking Scorpions, who already basically get an extra Action with Strike & Fade. [Plus a free MW2 Hit.] Literally make the Howling Banshees faster, with a bonus to both their base Movement & even more to their Dash. Maybe a 2nd Fight per Action, at -1 Attack &/or -1 To Hit, similar to Dire Avengers. Sure, keep the Exarch at APL3. Plus whatever Aspect Ability is appropriate, of course. & similar with other, upcoming Aspects. [Goin back to 2nd Edition style with Swooping Hawks dropping Grenades as they Fly over Enemies, for sure!] A flatout +1APL marker for every 2 Scouts on the board, handed out/assigned at the beginning of each Turning Point [as Orders are assigned] coulda been cool for them, too. It doesn't seem right they get APL equal to a fully grown Astartes, either. Plus add in a lil bit of extra Defense with in built Stealth Ability. Plenty of Cover &/or Stealth Abilities out there, to build from, for 'em. To me, it just goes with the KT Salvation prevailing theme, the feeling I get from it: It all seems a bit too slapdash, lazy & generally uninspired. The Terrain, no patent'd KT Upgrade Sprues for either Team & etc.. & the Jump but not Fall mechanic seems seriously lacking & very un-Narrative. Falling into the mess would easily just involve using Movement to get back up & 1 or more Mortal Wounds for being in the natural equivalent of the Necromunda Sump. 🤓 Parts 2+ should really tell the tale. Will the Terrain be exactly the same, when there's so many good+interesting Sector Mechanicus walkway shapes & buildings? & Terrain interactions/Rules; We should be able to just lay walkways on the board, too, without the struts & suchlike! [As if the struts are submerged.] Some counters to mark+include rickety walkways, too A small chance it just dumps ya in the drink type deal.

Indirect and no cover are 2 different things. Cover die can be retained vs. indirect.

Scouts look totally rad. Eldar still look liek TEH G3hy.
