Cheers for this! I don't follow KT that closely, but I always love to see it, as I'm starting to get more into skirmish stuff (returned to Necromunda recently - much prefer it to 40K), and seeing what's happening in the tournament/competitive scene definitely helps!

40K and its adjacent tabletop games always have trouble getting elite factions/teams right. We are currently in a spot where space marine and Co. battleline has significantly worse points-efficiency compared to any other faction. Kill team does it better, but at a high skill level elite teams cannot keep up performance-wise with the others.

@@SpriteAndSmite In fairness, until 6 months ago, elites were doing really well! If you ignored the "broken" teams which were still winning but they were beating everything, not just elites.

Win rates vs podiums really demonstrates win rates aren't everything. I've been thinking intercession are fairly weak recently based off their win rates, but they still seem to be performing fairly well when it comes to podiums.

@@majortom7186 Go show us how it's done! I don't remember what I said about them in this video, but I hope I wasn't TOO down on Kroot. I think they have some viability and aren't a "bad" team, it's just that their playstyle doesn't feel "good" in the tourney scene. Which is max score by turn 2 and then try to live. But in some ways that can be fun for you when you pull it off!

Have similar issue like you .. I am just drawn to underdogs, and feel bad playing what everyone else are. I'm usually sorting scores first by games/players playing them, only then going from bottom checking what does still have reasonable winrate and is something I would like to play.

Nothing was worse for me than Pathfinders being absolutely bonkers on release. I had been planning on playing them! Now, my plan is to pick the lowest win rate team that doesn't feel bad to put effort in to!

Our (very local and small KT group) has a guy playing BoK and he absolutely ran over the Nightlords/Intercession player 3-0 back to back. Not statistically significant or meaningful, but it felt good to see dude get Rekt lol

Adjusting the filters they actually have the most played games and the highest picked. Odd they were just left out for some reason?

@@TrentinPriebeYeah, so I guess when I went on to the default stat page kommandos were filtered out already. Which is super odd. I must have clicked someone's link who had that filter turned on for some reason. Well, Kommandos OP, no change!
