The musicians providing the minor instrumentation during comedic beats, like the bass or cymbals or even a guitar strum, subtly adds so much energy to the punchlines. The theme music is obvious, but there is a lot of subtle things that occur. Kill Tony having this band reminds me of the old late nights like letterman, where they would actually use the music comedically.

@@realassnewf3773 jeremiah was funny (although his whole theater boy vibe bugged me occasionally), joel was funny 1/3 times he talked. chroma chris picked his spots and jetski was solid. the new band are more together musically though. and now tony and jeremiah don't have to fight every other show like they did in the later years
