More useful information than I've heard on a hundred KZfaq guitar lesson videos.

What a great groove, Bruce! The A5 chord with the open G string, very cool way to get that 7th in there. Thanks, for sharing! Dave

Hi Bruce, love the video! Also love your lessons on the RC-300. Where can I find the whole series instead of randomly finding them on youtube? Patrick
@clayhorsemusic10 жыл бұрын
Hey Patrick, thanks for the kind words. Well, YT keeps changing things - it used to be a lot clearer, in my opinion. I guess the best way would be to click on the clayhorsemusic link on any of the videos and go to the channel, then click on "videos".

great lesson great riff...what is it you use for the drumlike sound you have when demo it? Hope for more killer riffs cause they sound really cool. thanks best regards micael

Thanks, Micael. That drum sound was from the Boss RC-300 Loop Station, Simple Beat 1. Just wanted something to act like a metronome. More to come! :o)

Hey, thanks solidranger. We do "Choctaw Bingo" in the band and it's always a lot of fun to play. I might be able to hook a recorder up to the board sometime and get a cut, and if I do I'll PM you. Cheers, Bruce.

The riff allows a narration of a story just like McMurtry does it

Nah man you just take a long time to get what he is saying 😂 this man is packing multiple muting techniques, different ways of hitting power chords, and way more cool stuff I'm too much of a rookie to fully appreciate. And he is doing it in a one song lesson.
