This game was far better than Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat back in the day. I still remember the long lines of people waiting to play this game while the SF and MK arcades were empty. The mid 90's were a big era for fighting games. So many franchises with good titles that now many have been long forgotten. I would love to see Primal Rage and Weaponlord remakes with modern technology and graphics.

ki charachters were just too original. such a good franchise, new kibjust lacks of tha escence imo. great game primal rage as well.

KI was amazing just like a lot of other arcade games back in the 90s. But I never once saw MKII without crowds of people.

Now the kids play online alone in the home. I remember Virtual striker. Terminetor 2. To much coins in that fucking game😅

No it wasn’t. This game had its novelty appeal but it lacked anything in terms of gameplay that Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat 2 offered. Games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter also appeared at the same time and embarrassed KI even more with their depth and characters. The combos were everything in this game, nothing else was considered important.

I enjoy the ending for so many reasons, I specifically like how quickly Eyedol considers the name, took a moment to recall it ( indirectly ) and crushed her.

If you've been catching up with the Killer Instinct Season 3 news and announcements, there are only 3 characters left to be released. Gargos is coming this month, and there are only two more left. The leaks say that General RAAM from Gears of War is next, to promote Gears 4, so there's only one character left. It could be Eyedol, or another guest character, or a new character, who knows? Just have to wait...

I prefer this version better than what I've had it has better graphics. And I miss playing this game. I did not have a favor but I know I hated sabrewulf. Weakest fighter ever.
