Why the youngsters can't appreciate this is beyond me. Lou Ferrigno was the only real person to ever play the HULK. He nailed it!

This was, and still is one of the best shows ever. Partly because the Hulk was a real man. Not CGI.

I'm old enough to remember watching this with my Dad as a young boy. Best shit on TV back then was this. Years later, I remember taking my own son to see Spawn in 1997 - he loved it. So he visited me the other night and over beers we decided to have some laughs watching Spawn -- in all its cheesy glory, bad special effects and all. It was great!

Ferrigno could still pull off the Hulk role today. He's massive!!!

Me, too. I was about 7 or 8 when this first came on TV. We'd never seen anything like it. I was totally freaked out by Lou's make-up, especially the first two episodes. The only thing that kept me from feeling he was totally evil was remembering what that doctor said in the pilot episode, that the Hulk's not a killer because David's not a killer. I'm amazed I remembered all that as a kid.

The most evil baddies in the world could be seen in this TV Series! Glorifying evil Mafia style! Never have i seen anything more evil in my whole childhood as this! Glad i am 51 now. Yes, i used to watch this as a kid, and the baddies really used to get on my nerves! These actors are nothing but evil, and they are serving satan!

David Banner is not a murderer, so the Hulk is not a murderer. That's one of the rules of the series. In fact, David doesn't even like hurting people, he just wants people to listen, so I think that's why, even when angry, the Hulk just wants people to get out of his way and let him do what he's trying to do.

Plus Ferrigno, in his book, stated that has the show progressed, they would airbrush his muscles so they would stand out for filming, and then give it a coat of high gloss paint too make it really shine. Producers didn't want Ferrigno too completely flex his most muscular pose. Thinking that it would scare kids. But has they loosened up on that rule around the 3rd season.
