Wes, it's such a joy seeing you with your son in some of the videos. Please enjoy this time with him as much as possible, it reminds me of the time my son was his age, he is now almost 38 years old. My point is he will be grown before you know it, and you like me will wonder where the time went. Thanks for another great video and thank the co-star for his appearance as well! Lol

I have a log cutting question for you. At 6:20, and again several times, when you finished cutting a section of the tree the end part jumped up, as it it had been under strain. Why would that be? I would have thought the tree would not be under tension. I think in your previous videos I've never seen a tree do this. Just curious. Love your videos and envy both you and your son. What a perfect life you are giving him!
@falllineridge
@falllineridge 9 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's called tension. I've had it happen before. Honestly not totally sure what causes it. I have read that trees that grew on banks are prone to it.

I have been watching your posts long enough to see your son growing like a weed - keep him close and teach him as he will be grown and gone before you know it - I have a daughter who grew up before I knew it and I'm so proud of her today. I noticed that a couple of those white oak boards lifted when cut through - that from stress or twist in the tree???
