As others will tell you, there was a lot of controversy around simon’s opinion. It was simon’s music production team that chose the song. Simon had his winner picked out from the very first show of the whole competition, an acrobat group. Out of 40 contestants Marcelito came in 4th. He was the only singer to make it to the top 4. Angelina didn’t make it either! Please react to Marcelito’s AGT performance of Con te Partiro. Please and thanks! 👍🙏🏼

The Champions edition of AGT is different from the normal one, the contestants only sing a few songs and there are supposedly "50 super fans" that vote!! Before Marcelito's final song reactors were trying to pick a song for Marcelito, he made a video (it's on his YT channel) thanking everyone but said his song has already been chosen for him by Simon and the team. Marcelito said its a nice song but he didn't think it was good enough for the final. He wanted to sing Hallelujah or We are the World ( lots of different voices) but wasn't allowed. Everyone is angry with Simon because he picked the song then criticised Marcelito for it. Marcelito was never going to win but from all the polls and YT views Marcelito was way in front of everyone else, had it been an open public vote Marcelito would have won easily. His wife is on stage with him at the end because she translates for him, Marcelito only speaks a little English but is learning, although you would never guess hearing him sing in lots of languages he doesn't speak. Marcelito also sings A Whole New World if you want a Disney song, but not on AGT. Love watching you two react to him.

Yes, Marcelito said so himself in an interview that Beauty and the Beast wasn't his choice. He had another song prepared for the finals but it was the production's choice of song, and of course Simon knew it, so how could he say such. I heard that in competitions like this, it's scripted and some other past contestants have spoken about it too. Sad......for this reason, I don't watch them.

According to Marcelito's channel, Simon gave him several songs to choose, he cannot pick a song of own choice but to obey to Simon that's why he picked beauty and the beast. But Marcelito deleted that post because somebody advised him that a contract he signed from AGT ...nobody can disclosed what is happening in AGT.

Before "Beauty And The Beast" he performed "Con Te Partiro" (Time To Say Goodbye). AGT posted a teaser of this and got millions of views within a day. After the season ended, AGT deleted all of Marcelito's performances.

People may criticize Simon for his assessments but if read his body of work you will see he speaks more as a judge of talent rather than a fan like the other judges. That is why all the contestants want his approval more than the other judges.

Actually, during the interview with Marcelito after the competion, it was Simon who picked the song and Marcelito was praparing and practising already a more explosive song which will really highlighted his talent but Simon didnt agree with it and instead picked BEAUTY AND THE BEAST song then later on told the other judges that Marcelito sang a very safe song that everybody knows! SIMON IS REALLY CRAZY AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HATE HIM!

Thanks for recognizing the unique gift of memory and recreation in Marcelito's incredible singing abilities. Simon Cowell's control over AGT renders it almost meaningless. As the fans have described in detail, Simon's criticism about the choice of songs, having picked it himself, foreshadowed the fact that he intended for Marcelito to NOT win, and he ended up in Fourth Place behind an Asian Tumbling team. Disgusting. Having studied the body of Marcelito's work, I suggest that there was noone on AGT Champions that year that came close to Marcelito's talent. Cheers.

All the judges from the first ending up with Simon, focused on "choice of song." They are all complicit in making it appear that it was Marcelito's choice when it was in fact Simon's. Marcelito would have chosen an extremely powerful song choice given that it was the finals. People are so naive that they need to read between the lines.

The way I look at it, America Got Talent is only the screen title. The real name of the show is "Simon Says". The public voters -- if indeed there are --do not look at real talents; they behave like they are Simon's fangirls and fanboys who are easily persuaded by his comments. In other words, they just take cue from him. Obviously, in this competition, Marcelito was not Simon's anointed one. The question is: where is the champion now?

Thanks Guys for appreciating Marcelito's Amazing Raw Talents. Amazing because he had no Formal Singing Training in his whole freaking life. Having said that, this show had been exposed for controversy on so much Manipulations and Dramas. Not only during Marelito's stint but most if not all shows. Marcelito said, Simon picked this song and Marcelito wanted to sing g another song for this show, then Simon has the audacity to criticized Marcelito. I felt that Simon used Marcelito because of the millions of views on line and fans watching AGT because of Marcelito.
