Remember when this game was in development they talked about how the weapons are animated at 120fps or something. You can see parts of the weapon moving and shaking like the barrel. Some of the realest animation work on firearms I’ve ever seen

@@jaredjx yes it is, each update has been giving us less and less content because they're making way for kf3 and even then the content we have been getting is mostly unoriginal. One community map, an hrg weapon and something new for 10 dollars, I dont about you, but a weapon variation, a weapon mostly not worth the price and a community map isnt enough to keep it afloat, granted in this next update we are getting new weekly's but how many are we getting? Two? Kind of a too little too late thing

You guys ever noticed that with the akimbo reloads the right hand is doing a lot of the work and a lot of movement while the left-hand kind of just sits there with less movement? That is some detail right there.

It's a rare sight, yes. But also mainly because the lots of us are mostly right-handed, and thus excels better with the right hand side. But few people were left-handed(which can be both a blessing and a curse), but even fewer people are ambidextrous(extremely rare but proficient. Can also be (self) taught as well, which I did some time ago now)

Combats can be very stressful, and without proper techniques, unskilled operaters will fumble a lot(shotgun user's worst nightmare, truly. It's already hard enough to reload most of the shotguns shells by shells, and only gets worse if they drop them; it's hard to tell between spent cartridges and otherwise)

I honestly love the fact that for a majority of the non-empty reloads they save the mag with ammo in it. So many shooters don't do that, yet this old zombie game does. Crazy.

I seen a lot of Killing Floor 2 reloading animation videos, but this one definitely includes Tactical Reload animations as well, and the ever so detailed akimbo reload with only 1 round left(look VERY CLOSELY at the right hand side!).

I am preaty sure that ya missed some animations of the Stoner lmg(1-2)"i recal if you are not using fast reload skill and reload your weapon with less than 13 bullets, an extra animation will play, your character will remove the lmg bullets, if you use fast reload, this animation will not be played". Other than that, good job.

weight makes your hands move like that though, i actually find them realistic because since he sometimes holds guns with one hand, he can't keep them fully stable due to their weight, merely my own opinion.

Indeed, weight and felt recoil are the main factor we have hard time keeping them stable at all times. However, if you have seen Chris Costa's reloading techniques at some points, you can see where the assault rifle's reloading animations inspired from. Although AK-12 came from the elite Spetnaz units...

Those are the speed reloads. The trained reloads and even though they look flashy (which they are) they’re fighting against hordes of zeds so they’re fast movements are probably from stress.

Bro missed the alternte animation for the Stoner when you only have a few bullets left in the mag, the animation is that they brush off the last few bullets and then they knock out the ammo box

Akimbo animations are always so unsatisfying because of the complexity of the reloads and the workarounds used to make them fast.

One of the most realistic reloading animations by far, if otherwise quite aggressive to some's taste. Very detailed too; a rare sight even in today's video game technology. Although Gunslinger's reloading animations were mostly tacticool stuffs from the movies, I'm "impressed" on how those spent cartridges from revolvers were ejected on the Tactical Reload animations. Gravity, perhaps?

Probably gravity, though considering cartridges expand when fired, they’d be a bitch to get out without a proper ejector.

@@camarokidbb4347 Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Still cool otherwise. Ammo storage and placements is also quite important for all reloading process/techniques as well; the closer they are to both your hands and guns, the faster you get access to them. Crouching down also helps as well, especially when (re)loading the LMGs, and then some; you can simply drop the magazine this way without them taking any fall damage.

most guns have 4 animations. The only weapons that have 6, are akimbo pistols: partial, 1 bullet left, Full, Fast partial, fast 1 bullet left and fast Full. Here you go, i aint even biggest game nerd, only got myself 800+ hours in the game, there poeple better than that.

If you wanna be REAL nit picky, the mags in the L85 look like gen 2 P-MAGS which don’t lock in properly when used in the real gun
