When I read the title I thought you meant starting a new account, but only being able to kill 1 type of monster for every combat level you gain, which I believe would also be a cool video.

Fun video! I think you could have bought a fire staff, or turned your air staff into fire at a POH study room at the end there. Then do a bunch of alching for a d mace?

This was actually very entertaining challenge. Another alteration that could be fun would be doing it so that you only have one life, but so that you allow prayer to be used until it runs out. Whether or not you allow prayer potions or not is up to you, but the need to conserve prayer as there's only set amount of it could be a fun addition!

My man when you kill low lvl revs you got to either 1 shot them or let them heal if you get them low. They heal right when they die sometimes and you will get 0 drops.

Would be a very interesting speedrun category with tweaked rules, like: -You may use protection prayers on your way to a monster, until you attack it for the first time -You may kill a selected monster several times for drops (it takes time, however) -No wilderness to not have runs ruined by PKers -Herblore supplies may be notes

You might already know this, but you can change a setting in the setting menu which controls whether your food and potions drop to the ground, or to your gravestone on death. That's why all your pots keep ending up on the ground. You can change it so it all goes to the gravestone.

I think this would be a really cool pvp concept with some tweaks. Maybe something like 30 kills of anything below level 50, then 20 kills of 50-100, then 10 kills of lvl 100+, or something along those lines. Again shops are open and maybe allow buying food

This would make a good challenge for a group of content creators, especially if you revisited it regularly. I imagine a group of 4 doing this at once potentially picking different mobs taking different paths and showing their routes and who got lucky drops where etc etc and ofc the winner from last week could be talking shit the whole time lol

@rargh @LinksOcarina I don't know if you know or recall what I'm talking about but either you or Link started a series like this where you would Kill X amount of every monster starting from cb level 1. I really liked the series and that the editing had a monster card sortve feature but it only lasted an episode or two. Was really cool.

I feel like it's actually insane you got SO many coin drops at the beginning. The odds of that happening so many times, versus any other drop, is probably super low.

Tool lep could have noted some herbs at some point for more space, and unnoting yew logs and then lighting them with a bow at mage bank with raw food could have gotten you back to the scorpion pits quickly too. A lot of things you ended up dropping could have been an extra ~100 gp minimum if sold to a general store. Not a lot but a little bit turns the tide.

Should light the fire of eternal light to stop needing a lighting source in many challenges

you and link should do this as a pvp fight. show up in best gear and use swordfish as base unless u get a food drop. can use shops and skill

Part 2 - recreate your inventory, go to the fountain of rune and use it for alchs and see if the d mace will let you get the kill, continue as far as you can using the fountain of rune for alchs

I like this. But it would be neat in the higher level stuff if you could step back a monster/too and camp them a couple of times for better drops to go back up, The catch would be you can only go down to the last monster, and the same one you chose to kill to begin with, It would take some of the rng out of it and let your plan do the talking.

At the end you could have maybe tried to buy a fire staff, alc the dragon scimitar to buy a dragon mace

If you go to your Settings Tab->All Settings->Gameplay, you can uncheck "Food/Potions can form supply piles on death". Then you won't have to keep going back to where you died to save your potions, they'll all go to your gravestone/Death's Office. It seems like you're done with this challenge, but I figure it'll be helpful if you do any similar UIM-style restrictions in the future. Also, you had another option which might have been easier than Sarachnis, the Brutal Black Dragon. But either way, things were about to get really rough -- there are only maybe a couple dozen more valid targets in the whole game and they scale up really fast. I posted the list below. Would've been cool to make to it rune dragons, the last "normal" mob in the game, but you still did incredibly well for these to be the only ones left! Some of these were never happening in a million years with the restrictions you had. Artio KQ Zalcano addy dragon Zachariah Abyssal Sire rune dragon Alchemical Hydra advanced wildy bosses Zulrah Vorkath Muspah Corp Beast DT2 bosses Nightmare Phosani's Nightmare Awakened DT2 bosses All the rest are tucked away in raids or other challenges. Even if you include the raid bosses you can technically reach without killing anything (Kephri, Akkha, Maiden), it's a surprisingly short list that spans several hundred levels.

The bone crossbow spec might have helped with some of these, but that spec is confusing so maybe im wrong
