@@daringdarius5686 I cried so much when I saw how quickly House ran to save the baby. And then the mother's reaction to her murdering her own son, made me cry even harder. And then I stopped crying and clasped my hands over my mouth as she threw herself over the side of the bed and experienced hematemesis! (AKA vomited blood.) I have seen what the final dignosis was, but I did not know about the hematemesis part. That had me shocked.

Michael Noble “The murderer” it’s not that simple. Postpartum depression is a genuinely diagnosable illness and needs to be treated by medical professionals. If someone does smother their baby and they are delirious, they are not legally accountable since they are not mentally capable at the time. It’s a tragedy all round, really. Like if you accidentally hit a kid with your car. You didn’t mean to do it and you will have to live with that guilt. People with psychosis or postpartum depression should ideally be seperate from their child until they are healthy again. So this doesn’t happen.

Matthew Farrell I absolutely agree with you. More needs to be done to ensure both parents don’t have any “medical issues” and both should receive the help and medical care they need. Not just for their own health, but that of the baby. Everyone focuses on the mother, expecting the father to be stoic and inhuman. Fathers are human beings with emotions and are susceptible to illness as well. But notice I never actually specified a gender or sex in my previous reply?

I love the fact that House insults Foreman to try and rile him up but unlike others will also remind him "which was not stupid" because he genuinely believes Foreman is a good doctor and wants him to know that. Its also part of why when Foreman goes along with House it frustrates House, because Foreman has good ideas and thinks critically so seeing him not use it is infuriating! Great acting and top notch character chemistry this clip.
