My favorite part about this hearing was when they ask to approach the bench and Kim tries to walk over with them and is quickly stopped by the deputy.

In 4/5 streams you talk while muted. You need to get a USB foot pedal and configure it as your push to talk button. You can get them on Amazon for $15 for a single pedal and $35 for 3 pedal unit. It made a huge difference for me in my gaming channel. The only negative is you will get so used to it that when you are out in public you will automatically "reach" for the pedal when you start to talk. You can also configure your steaming software to show you an icon when you are muted, if configured correctly the icon does not show in the stream.

‘Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.’ The quote is most likely due to writer and philosopher George Santayana, and in its original form it read, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” This case has been _so_ meta. During the trial a video was shown of part of his traffic court case, during which were shown body cam footage of the officers conducting a traffic stop on Blandino. Old truck not properly registered or insured with Montana plates, no insurance, and he showed an "Israel international driver's license" and was sited for driving without a license. Months later he shows up at the traffic court judge's private practice in the same truck with the same plates. Now at least 3 years later, while on probation for threatening the traffic court judge, he is arrested for driving without proper license, insurance, and registration, and is charged for a fake diplomatic passport. He has shown that he won't follow rules. Give him 3-5 in prison and see if he can get through another 5 years of probation/parole.

The white noise was coming from Bateman's webcam it was very disruptive. Oh you MUST see what Chille did in his HPO case yesterday. Literal dumpster fire. The judge was so awesome! She shot him down like 3 times. He tried to submit his affidavits mid-hearing! The judge refused to accept them on grounds of hearsay. Chille, of course, illegally stream the hearing despite the judge telling him NOT to record. His "evidence package" he wanted to present which got denied was hilarious! He tried to frame Kate for something she couldn't possibly do from 2000 miles away. You really did fall of the Chille train! The zoom trial can be found somewhere on YT land. It will make you cringe super hard.

I missed the live this morning - sleeping because I haven't been feeling the best since I got back from my Texas vacation last week. 😢 Good to see Ben back again - he's a great guy!! Mr Blandino looked quite fetching in his co-ordinated ensemble. A Dark blue form fitting Jump suit, with distinctive White lettering on the back. Daringly accented with silver wrist chains joined at the waste with an elegant lock piece. As a contrast piece the designer gave Kim dashing orange shoes. Kim was so excited, at one point he attempted to join a Side Bar. We're sure he wished the Judge to view his outfit close up. .

I'm slightly surprised that Blandino violated the court's direct order under penalty of prison. As I remember, he's facing 5 or 10 years. He then has the nerve to claim that he has to care for his mother. Maybe he should have thought of that before refusing to sign the conditions. Honestly, he thinks he's above the law. The court should put him in. There's many more persons that deserve the court's mercy.

My theory: Blandino did this on purpose. He's like a gamb++r who can't stop because he's desperatly trying to win back his losses so far. He basically wants to relitigate his k+d++ppi+g conviction and thinks if he finally convinces one judge that he was wronged in that case and gets formally rehabilitated then all the other charges / convictions will be reversed as well, because that was what he "had to do" in order to finally get justice. So he does everything he can to get in court again and again until he finally succeeds. (Which will never happen, but he thinks like "either succeed or 'd++ trying'"). Just my theory about him.

Dumb question (and I apologize if it was covered and I missed it), but: what exactly did Judge Leavitt rule at the end? I heard her say, "at this time, I'm going to deny the request for an OR?" Did I hear that correctly? What is an OR, and who made the request (the defense or the prosecution)?

Own Recognizance: meaning the judge allowed a person accused in a criminal case to go free pending trial without posting bail. Defense wanted it and the judge denied it, so he stays in jail for now.

Thanks to you both. :) I was thinking the "R" maybe stood for "revocation" (since the ONJ video was titled, "revocation hearing") which led to me being confused when she said she was denying it and everybody rejoiced. :) Follow-up questions: is his probation officially revoked? Or was this not actually the revocation hearing and his probation is just on hold until the actual revocation hearing? Was the ONJ video mistitled, or is every hearing leading up to the decision on whether to revoke his probation called a "revocation hearing"?

It’s gross that Las Vegas attorneys routinely appear on media to talk about their former clients. It would never fly in the two New England states to which I was (and am) admitted to practice. The duties of confidentiality and respect survive the end of the attorney-client relationship. One of Michael McDonald’s (many) attorneys went on shows to talk about that case.

I kept thinking I had seen Kim before all this legal nonsense but I could NOT figure out where. Well, I just got it. He looks like J. Wellington Wimpy from the old Popeye cartoon. The resemblance is uncanny.
