I am always fascinated by translators. They really do an amazing job to translate so fluently and quickly. Both of those women done great.

I feel like translating is the easy part, if you know both languages, but what I would have trouble with would be remembering what the person you are translating said, or writing it down fast enough.

@@emn8168 oh definitely me too. I agree. But don’t forget that it’s not conversational words and sentences that they necessarily need to translate, a lot of the time it’s political jargon and words that I’m sure must be hard to translate!

Lets say I spoke fluent korean and english, if the translators were saying stuff that wasn't true and I saw it, I'd call them out on it and so would other fluent speakers. @Henry James The Korean war never officially ended, a armistice was signed the 27th of July 1953, however no peace treaty has ever been signed between North and South Korea. Why do you think the demilitarized zone is heavily guarded between Koreas and the area treated as a flashpoint? Tourist can't even take pictures of the North Korean side of the DMZ for fear of a war breaking out.

the Korean war ended with US and North Korea after numerous treaties and seize fires were signed in the DMZ. The war between South Korea and North Korea is still happening today because like I said the only seize fires were signed not a declaration of peace. Why do you think there are armed soldiers on both sides of the DMZ? Why do you think the PACAF conducts quarterly exercises with the ROK military? Before you attack people. learn the history more than calling yourself a self-acclaimed Korean war expert because you briefly read something on Buzzfeed...……….. false. I took a selfie 3 feet away from a north Korean solider nearly on the demarcation line between north and south Korea. Ive taken plenty of pictures and videos while I was at the DMZ. one picture I took I caught a North Korean Solider staring into the camera lens out of the corner of his eye. @@brandonb5912
