The reason why Jung Gi is one of my favorite artists is not exactly because of his abilities but because he seems to have so much fun drawing. Just like I used to when I was a child.

For me it's both man, the freedom in which he can express his thoughts are heightened to such a degree that is unquestionably enviable. I love his joy in everything he does too, the living picture of an artist his caliber. Brings me back to simpler times as well :))

I think what I love about Kim Jung Gi’s art is that even if he draws a face with incorrect proportions, it still is shaded correctly and the lines are so crisp. We need more of these videos so I can see more of his art please!

caricatures have exagerate proportions but I wouldn't say incorrect as he knew exactly what he was going to do an achieved it.

God bless Jing Gi and artists everywhere. We would all draw better by challenging our own assumptions of what we think we are capable of. Don't try to be as good as Jung Gi, just try to be better than you were yesterday.

I need another Omphalos book I own a couple of his books!!!! But omphalos in my opinion figuratively it’s the best. It’s Jung Gi at his most free.

The first binder is a collection of copy papers, the second sketchbook was purchased from a merch shop of the gallery, third and fourth sketchbook is moleskin.
