That's the truth. Kimani wants to leverage the current evolving dynamic revolutionary situation in Kenya so that he can fit in. He does that by mimicry through the hijacking of part of the messaging and rhetoric in order that he may remain relevant. But, truth be told, Ruto did not spring from nowhere, politically speaking. Kimani and his ilk are the people who cultivated and nourished Ruto and are still giving him succour to this day. However, they've sensed, though, that the Titanic is headed for imminent collision with the iceberg and they want to ensure their own survival by starting to be deliberately ambivalent, striving to have it both ways. Let's be clear:- Kimani doesn't reject Ruto as a phenomenon, rather his quibbles are about 'some small differences here and there'. He fails to see and acknowledge the obvious that Ruto is a total unmitigated disaster, and that he, as Kimani, helped in creating that disaster. Taking responsibility for his past obnoxious actions in support of Ruto, would be a good place to start!

Having said that, what he said about dwale is not something we don't know, whether it's a political mileage on his side it is nothing but the truth, it is ugly and painful, and it should stop!
