Lived in the ROK. My friend made kimchee jjigae, every day...at lunch. Ate kimchee at every meal. Lost 70 pounds, felt good. Convinced jjigae is health food. Little fat, correct level of protien, lots of fiber. I love this lady!

I made this dish for dinner tonight and I had to stop myself from eating ALL OF IT! I also prepared your cooked, seasoned soybean sprouts, and some white rice to eat with it. The flavors in this recipe are exactly what I have been craving, but couldn't find Anywhere! My local Korean grocery store didn't have the plain tuna so I bought the spicy tuna and used it in my dish. It was so good I could have cried. My husband almost did when he tasted it. He doesn't handle spicy foods too well "_" More for Me! Yayyyyyy! :-) Thank you Maangchi! You're the BEST!

I made this meal twice last year and loved it. I used canned mackerel instead and it's one of the best meals I have ever had. Had a craving for it today, I think I'll make it tomorrow.

I used to live in South Korea and after three years I often still miss the flavors. You can't really find Korean cuisine in its whole variety in Europe. So thanks to your videos, I am now able to prepare those dishes myself at home. And feel like I am back in Seoul! :) Thank you Maangchi!

I usually have kimchi stew for dinner after work, im a big eater and always can finish the whole things with a lot of mixed rice. Im not afraid of gaining weight because this is actually very healthy, gives you energy and warmth. And ur tummy feels good. Fermented food really is the best!

I actually just made your kimchi soft tofu stew yesterday omg!! I had cucumber salad and steamed eggplant with it as side dish! I'll try it with firm tofu and tuna next time. Guys honestly ,don't hesitate, it's really delicious!!

김치는 진리죠...여러가지 재료들과 합이 너무 잘맞죠! 집에서 만든 김치는 육수 없이도 훌륭한 요리로 변신 가능하니... 참치김찌찌개는 어릴때 많이 먹었었는데 요즘은 어묵 콩나물 두부넣고 많이하게 되네요. 숙주에 오이 너무 좋아요. 한번 해 봐야겠어요. 💕

I made this last night and it turned out absolutely amazing! I used broth instead of water and added some garlic. Even my very picky husband said it smelled amazing. I also topped with the half of two boiled eggs. I've been following your recipes for years and years. I still love your videos and recipes. 💜
