This is the video a meant that i roared with laughter. And Justin is the cameraman and dad of Buddy. He saw his son rolling down the slope and he kept rolling the camera til Buddy stopped and let Kimi comfort Buddy while she removed dirt from his mouth while Buddy is crying. LOL !!

Sea cucumber... throw away guts but the outside skin later can be eaten as well. Diced up raw and dipped with gochujang sauce made with sugar and vinegar.... sooo goood

In NZ we open sea urchin (or Kina) using two large spoons back to back pushing down and out at the mouth. Super easy! Looks delicious 😊

Just came back from SE Alaska, grew up on Oahu, and I was wondering about free diving for Uni and Dungeness crab. Mahalo for making this video Kimi. I'll be diving for them next time!

For the sea urchin we used a metal spoon to split it in half wash out the inside and spoon out the flesh very delicious we fried it or cook it with rice thats how we do it in the Caribbean

What really delicious is when in Hawaii we prepare a dish with the raw uni mixed with raw lobster and seaweed (limu).🌺

I live in Sydney Australia (moved here from New Zealand 9 years ago), I love the roes of the NZ (Kina) sea urchins (very much the same as shown in this video) plumb & delicious. People don't believe you when you tell them it melts in your mouth. One different thing about the NZ sea urchins - the spines are shorter. I've just subscribed and can't wait to go through your contents. Very envious of your beautiful country & lifestyle ;)
