Do the British subjects not understand the monies, direct and indirectly, the monarchy generates through tourism, sponsorship and patronage? Often I see such bitter comments like the monarchy is somehow taking food from the populace. I thought there was a cost benefit analysis performed annually that reflected their contributions. Seriously 😳 they are the most popular of all the monarchies in Europe, Asia or the Middle East. The continuity the monarchy brings, free from political morass, alone should be a great comfort.

Nice to see Camilla wearing the Diamond Diamond for this occasion. I thought she might, rather than wearing her coronation crown, as it is lighter, more comfortable and doesn't overshadow Charles.
