I have been offered to build this for a friend, Kieran Swann... I've not built one of these before and I appreciate the opportunity to build one...
the truck will be using the following:
HobbyWing 1060 ESC
Mabuchi 540 motor
Futaba S-U300 Servo
Sense Innovations ESS One Sound System
A Generic Light Kit
The Radio TX & RX are the Spektrum DX6 G3 and Spektrum AR400

An interesting departure from Tamiya, it looks sturdy and workmanlike, except for the worker to build ... so many small screws .. oooch..

The 3 parts in the bag at the beginning are the wheel nut tool and sockets I would think twice about the motor, I went with a 55T but changed it for a 27T silver can The gearbox is geared down so it’s very slow

agreed, the carson motor was slightly too long and touched the servo so I replaced it with a 540 27t motor.

Bloody fantastic!! I've wanted to do one of these for a very long time. I have 3 Friends who have done them. The Quality is very good indeed. You're right, they're NOT cheap. They all said the same thing.... These are geared LOW. If you use a high Turn Motor, you'll have NO speed whatsoever! A 30 Turn Crawler Motor would be perfect. Looking forward to seeing this go together!! 😁

it was slow so I put in a 540 27t motor, it's still slow but it drives nicely 👍

Yeah, it's definitely not a Racecar... But I heard that the "typical" 55-70 turn Motor only gives it 1-2mph!! But I've heard it's a beautiful Model, an actual triumph for A Chinese product. I do want one... I've also heard that they're as much or more than Tamiya Semis!
