It is the asking for "support" that makes it a money grab, not what he's doing. ON his worst month he made $138 USD in a month and on his best, $1100 USD. The average is $800 USD. Not to mention the sponsors, not to mention the "free" R/C vehicles. If I "supported" every youtuber I follow monetarily, I'd be spending 3x my monthly income. I "support" them by watching their videos.

That looks amazing! Didn't know there were kits that detailed as far as the chassis. Use some of that coffee money for some ball hex's. They really are a life saver

The attention to detail on this truck is awesome!! Good choice of electronics with the HH motor and HW ESC. Should survive a paddle in water. I can't remember if I bought you a coffee before for the build, but I'm going to buy you one now. Great decision to give it away to someone who has contributed to your channel. 😎👍🏻

You have a desk at work? I thought you were a airplane mechanic, then you should have a work bench. Either way they are lucky to have you as a employee. Something else, I can’t believe some viewers thought you weren’t being honest about the money, they must not watch all the episodes because you can tell that you are on the level! Staining the bed with coffee is something I've done accidentally in the past, but as my wife makes me get up and drink it sitting at the table now, it's a refreshingly different approach, and a great idea!

@@TomleyRC I did it on a stock I made for an airgun. For weeks I couldn't work out why, upon shooting the gun, I'd suddenly fancy a cup of coffee. Eventually it dawned on me that I was unconsciously picking up on the very faint trace odour of coffee each time I he d the gun to my shoulder! It looks terrific, though, rather like walnut.

Your screws are neater than mine. Every time I fix something on my rc i lose a screw. I have now lost about 10 screws total lol. But they are expensive to rebuy so I'll just use cable ties if need be. Keep up the great videos

Sorry Mr Tomley yet no coffee from me , but would a cup of camp do instead . I love what you are doing with this Build . My dad did the same job as you , but in the USAF. From 54 until 74. on all types of aircraft . If he were still with us , he would have enjoyed watching your channel as his hobby was planes instead of cars.

@@TomleyRC help please Mr Tomley I know this is nothing to do with this video but I've just got a wltoys 124017 And I drove it into a tree at full pelt,it snapped the screw that goes straight through the front by the bumper and goes through the wishbone on the car Do you know what part number this is please? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED, thanks

@Tomley RC I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but the next time you have issues with those 2mm screws with nut-drive, find some screws with a standard 2mm hex drive and rig up a way to chuck it into one of your drivers.

coffee is very important in Colombia. there is a Jeep truck that has been usted since forever to carry coffee bean bags. You should check it, it's similar to one of your crawlers

My favourite truck so far (next to Cross RC MAZ =) also super good off-road truck, much better than the CA10) Get the scale looking soviet tires, will look much more realistic and sexy.. ;) Cheers, N.

For your 2mm socket you can use a socket head cap screw that takes a 2mm Allen and put that in a drill for example.

Great thought to be honest wish you got more of that thinking in the world today! I'd probably sell off the truck if won it split the money between charity and myself as charity sometimes starts at home aswell if your not doing to good just now after being made redundant I can't get back into the hobby because of it so all I have is my beloved KZfaq Tommly RC but would maybe start off with something cheaper if its an expensive truck might work good for both charities!

you use a 2mm hex cap head, fix in into something to drive it then you have a 2mm driver

so i have been watching some videos on this (Just ordered mine today) did you order your chassis, body, and bed all seperate? from what i have seen the full kit they sell comes with a green painted body, not sure if thats just random or only part of the full kit

If you ever run into needing a 2mm socket again just grab a 2mm socket cap screw and grab it in a pin vise.

I’d say as long as you take your time it’s not too bad. I’d recommend the TRX4 Sport kit as a first build.. I really enjoyed that

You don't need a 3D printed part almost every rc car comes with the silver four-way 7 mm 5 mm 4 mm and I believe 3 mm
