He is so unbelievably talented, I have this thing about not liking live performances because unless you're there they don't live up to the CD version, but this surpasses the studio album in my opinion; it just has such a raw powerful quality to it that is indescribable. (and it's not just Archy either, this specific band he travels with always puts in as much effort as he does and it makes it THAT much better!) King Krule is on the rise, and I'm so fucking happy that I'm alive to see it.
@gustavolemos59135 жыл бұрын
i think the problem is that you're lookin for the wrong live performances, as, in my opinion, there is a bunch of things that i love in a recorded CD that when i watched it live, it was marvelous. one show i cannot forget is the Slane Castle RHCP did back in the frusciante days. it's just better than any of their recorded songs.
@lawrence-yx1ew4 жыл бұрын
If an artist is truly talented, the live performance will almost always be better than the CD. If they're iffy, the Cd will always make up for what they lack in talent. James hunter six is a good example of a great band with even better live performs. Cuco is a good example of a band with good recorded albums but shitte live performances

This is perfect. The visual work and the staging of the concept is excellent.

Last I heard from King Krule was 6ft, wasn't expecting such an evolution and I'm loving it. Making myself a playlist of my favorites: Intro - 0:00 Dum Surfer - 1:10 Midnight - 8:05 Sublunary - 16:38 A Slide In - 24:06

here I am back again because I can no longer fully appreciate certain songs on the album without watching this performance.

Also this is the best live version of anything I’ve heard in years. I always have loved the way that his voice compliments his guitar

I feel so so stupid now. I heard of King Krule years ago, i listened to few songs and liked it and kinda reserved it somewhere in the back of my mind as something that i ought to listen as soon as i can. Then i pushed it and listened to other albums and time went by too fast. Now i find myself here listening to this and i feel like punching myself in the eye. Oh lordy what have i been missing. This live is awesome, his music videos are awesome and his albums are so so great and i missed this all by procrastinating. Well i am here now and i swear to you sweet folk of youtube that from now on i'm gonna watch every music video and listen to every song as soon as they get released. By the way; That Connan Mockasin cover = Unearthly.
