I don't usually listen to rap, but this was one of my "go to" songs that I listened to a ton growing up. It gives me chills as well. I love that bass line, and I love the way he delivers the lyrics. It's fun to sing along to. I also loved that movie, Dangerous Minds, as a kid. I was born in 91 and in the late 90's I remember having this music video, along with Weird Al's parody, recorded on a VHS. I watched it repeatedly. I started binging on the song again when I was 18 and had a sub system in my truck. Seems like I remember a lot of people making fun of Coolio, so I was too embarrassed to let anyone catch me listening to it.

The song is from Dangerous Minds and the song is awesome. When I first heard it, I played it for quite sometime because the song is so deep and speaks the truth. Poetic song at it's best!
