What a rude, ignorant woman. First she pushes in front of another tourist who was patiently waiting her turn, next she touches the guard's boot, responds (reluctantly) to the instruction to move away, and then deliberately ignores the order and moves in again. And then has the cheek to look bewildered at her treatment. All I can say is: if you don't understand English well enough to heed the firm instruction "Get back!" then being bodily pushed out of the way by the horse puts the message over clearly and succinctly. Well done, trooper. Always vigilant, always immaculately turned out.

I didn't see at first what she could have done to set him off. Then I saw it. First, she cut in when another lady had been waiting, then she put her hand on his boot. Big no no. Then after shuffling back she got shouted at again. 🙄Yes she deserved it.

He’s been taking lessons from my favourite guard. My favourite sits there and watches side to side constantly watching his horse so carefully and if anyone gets too near boy do they know it. This guard is thankfully getting the same. Well done so proud of you

The uniform is heavy and hot The helmet and chest plate are attracting the sun The horse has to stand still in the heat no shade big sheepskin on its back and the weight of the guard and uniform and yet these idiots still crowd around them with their stupid squeals if the horse breathes too heavy and being jerks just mauling and crowding them These are trained soldiers they still take part in recent conflicts some of them have seen things you wouldn’t want to see in your worst nightmare Instead of treating them with the dignity and respect they deserve you all act as if they are the UKs answer to bloody Disney world!!! I noticed when the new guard came that as the horse moved into position he's front legs slid out together but luckily it regained its footing. Anyone whose ridden a horse on the road knows how shoed hooves can slip, these horses are on cobbles which are even worse. I hope they think about something to help the situation.

Jolly good shout! But the nearside stirrup leather irks me! I've seen it before, don't know if it is just this guard who doesn't twist the leather the right way before mounting. He shouldn't have passed the inspection, or is that just for show and not actually inspecting? And as for the woman with the strapless top - we know that some horses love to grab the clothing and hold onto it, so I wonder if she knew that she could be in danger of losing her (small amount of) modesty?

These guard are most inconsistent in how they respond to tourists. Some allow picture takers to be close, pet the horse, etc., while other guard scream at people for being just as close as other guards allow. They really need to get their decorative little selves together.

Some tourist are just plain ignorant and that woman was one of them, but she finally got the message!
