About Eda becoming a representation for amputee/disabled community... Remember her father, who'd lost his arm (kind of; it's still intact, but disabled) and his eye? With her heterochromia and an arm being torn out Eda started to resemble him.

I don't think the titan lied about anything, he just sealed the collector away because they were dangerous and didn't care about the harm they were causing. The fact that they called the titan a bully shows how completely delusional and immature they are despite being around since forever.

Remember the collector is like a child. They don’t understand things like “hey that’s a baby you can’t just ‘play’ with it like you would a grown up.” And they think of Kings dad as a bully. Not necessarily an enemy. But someone who caused them some kind of harm (with the collectors mind probably they were being tough parent figure and wouldn’t let the collector do what they wanted) even when king was going to leave with Luz the collector sounded more hurt/ temper tantrum than malicious. If the collector has anything going for them (with the exception of Belos who broke their promise) he takes his promises VERY SERIOUSLY. Going as far as saying not wanting to associate with fibbers.(those who break their promises). Meaning they probably take people at face value a lot. Again much like a child. Honestly I love their character and just hope maybe King manipulates the collector into being peaceful if anything

When King heard his father cry out to him, it was most likely “Goodbye, my son" meaning that moments after he sealed the Collector at the cost of his life, he wanted to say goodbye to his son. As for the multiple mirrors, I believe that the Collector had means of being contacted through multiple mirrors, the Titan hunters had their own mirror to the Collector, but maybe the real reason they hunted Titans is because the Collector needed them to get a Titan to free him. But during a capture, a Titan managed to break the mirror then as a result, the Titan Trappers became a Titan Hunters, to kill the Titans from taking away their means of talking to their god.

I really hope they have some time for some goofy shenanigans in the human world, I know season 3 is short but I really wanna see a beach episode

Ever since I saw king and the titan's skull in the same scene, I always had the theory that he was going to be revealed that he was a titan and even perhaps the Boiling Isle's son When I saw the titan hunter in the one episode I was like "Aw man, I guess I was wrong," How wrong I was.

I wonder how does the Titan trapped The Collector in this artifact. Obviously it has something with the "hide and seek" game and kings dad tried to protect him with the amulett and so on. Maybe he made did it in exchange for his life? I already wondered how the titan actually died.

now let's hope that the nonsense doesn't happen that the fragment of Belos that fell on Hunter is still conscious and that while he sees what the Earth is now he realizes that killing witches no longer has any meaning and he just leaves...

The season 2 finale was such an epic episode! i'm glad that the day of unity has been stopped and Belos has finally been defeated, although i hope mostly everyone that was worse effected by the draining spell turns out alright and i'm amazed with the Collector's power i mean the fact that he was able to literally move the moon means that he's basically a god, but at least the Collector isn't really evil so much as he's just a misguided kid who doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, but i have no doubt that King and Eda will show him the way. And as for Luz and friends, i'm happy that the managed to make it to the human realm and i can't wait to see how they'll adapt to life there until Eda and King find a way to bring them all back to the Boiling Isles.

This is probably one of the favorite episodes of the show so far. The composer did a fantastic job with the music. And I loved that out of everyone it was Hunter that opened the door to the human realm. You could probably call it poetic that it wasn't Belos, the brother who wanted to go back to the human realm so badly, but it was the son of the brother who probably never wanted to go back that opened and went to the human realm instead. I just liked how they put that detail in there. When they could've easily had Luz or one of the other kids open the door.

Gotta give credit to TOH and its cast and crew for just how much effort was put into the second season and working with what little time they were given. It's a shame as to how this show won't be able to get that full third season, but it's incredible just how they were able to get so much done in terms of story telling. Also, I got more Scarecrow vibes from the Potion Coven's leader with elements of Spitter from Ben 10.

It's been two months and I still can't get over this episode

My theory on the double meaning of lies is that, since this is likely the Collector saying these rhymes, the negative meaning is probably them feeling as though King's father lied to them, either by tricking them into being sealed or by a misunderstanding of the Collector's part. Kind of how kids will say that their parents lied to them if plans suddenly have to change for things that are outside of their control and that the child didn't know about, ESPECIALLY if those plans included something fun.

Dana has stated now that season two is done she's gonna be off Twitter less , mentioning posting her art on her Instagram! She mentioned in the post that she enjoys drawing horror and monsters . I am astounded by her amazing imagination to make something as terrifying as Monster Belos ! I'll definitely be following her Instagram to see more of her art. This entire show has been magnificent.

10:20 personally, I can see this being the beginning of Philip’s Grimwalker experiments, but when I first saw the scene, I instantly thought “this is him burying his brother after he killed him”. But I could be wrong, since Grimwalkers do need the bones of whoever it is the maker is basing them off of, however, I do think it to be a bit morbid that Philip would just keep his brother’s corpse out in the open, decaying, until he could get what he wanted, in place of burying him.

I don’t think that Belos saying that ‘it’s almost like the titian keeping it secrets’ was the writer saying that Titian’s will is helping Luc. I think it was more hinting at Belos having an inferiority complex. Over the fact that Luc and his brother are gifted in magic and feel that he is not. And resents them for that. We saw in the time travel episode that Belos had been made fun of for not having innate magical abilities, i.e. ‘just because I don’t have a bile sack,’ I think Belos entered the demon realm without substantial prejudices. But I guess between being separated from his brother and possibly being abused, witches drove him to drastic measures to gain magical abilities. It seems that Celeb also protected belos from bullies in emporer mind episode. But when he finally found brother and discovered he made a palisman and had a witch for a wife. Belos became infuriated that brother had a much easier time without him and feeling abandon betrayed belos killed him and swore that kill off all the witches for stealing his brother from him. Ultimately belos does care for his brother but feels betrayed because celeb ended happy and he was miserable. Edited because my original post was incoherent.

But I do find it interesting that the two coven heads that have been going after the gang are the illusions & plant heads and Luz's two buds have been an illusionist & a... Plant person? If the plan failed Belos would have had the plan to launch an attack to kill them all together just like Frieza did? (and then as Bardock Mr Blight goes tries to stop him on his own)

How did belos showed a vision of the human realm to the coven heads if he did not know that the human realm had changed.

Here's the BIGGER question on my mind after watching this episode. Remember the promise Luz made to Camilla to stay with her, if and when she came back home? Well...now, she IS home but Luz will certainly want to make a comeback to whatever's left of the Boiling Isles to help save Eda and everyone else. So, how will she be able to do that; if her mom doesn't want Luz to go back there? (Side Note: This could mean a potential breakup of Lumity by the end of the so-called "third season." I only say this because there will, no doubt be a moment where the link between Earth and the Isles will become separated; just like what happened with Amphibia. If such a situation WERE to happen, that would mean all the hard work Dana put in to make Lumity canon will be all for nought)

Just happy to finally see someone else thinking the owl house he is building from titan bones might be the mural found in the owl house, or related to the Clawthornes at least

I hope they can get the Collector to calm down a little, since they seem more like a kid than anything else. Collector actually kind of reminds me of Milim. Who knows King could befriend the Collector.

Another thing is that I realized if they had ran in right away into the portal they could've been stuck in the in-between realm, well, at least some of them.

Hunter will also now learn more about his family and who the original Caleb was.

I love the collector so much. He kinda reminds me of little kids in my life. He's just a "kid" who wanted someone to play with. He seems so hurt when promises are broken and I really wanted him to have more screen time!

I feel like season 3 is gonna have a lot to do with King. It’s possible that by the season 3 finale, King will have the growth spurt he joked about and will use his powers as a titan to defeat the collector.

This finale and season 2 overall were amazing. The situation felt so intense Luz & the others were on the backfoot for most of the episode and just when you thought things were getting beter they got worse. The reveal that the Collector is some kind of cosmic entity and how powerful they are was truely surprising/shocking to see. The post credit scene of revealing that a part of Phillip/Belos is still alive was really interesting. I'm so hyped for season 3!

I feel one of the possible ways the group will get back to the boiling isles is luzs palismen hatching and somehow being a 'portal' between the worlds

I love how Hunter has his arm around Gus when they get to Luz's house he looks so protective.

Despite the collector being freed I don't think he's evil keep this a child that doesn't understand right from wrong

I’m so glad that you brought up the possibility that Flapjack was Caleb’s old palisman! To add some legs to this, one of the first images we see of the Whittabane brothers is them with the witch in a book. On, presumably, Caleb’s shoulder, there’s a Cardinal!

I just connected that the way the Collector communicates with the Boiling Isles is the same way Luz communicates with her mom from the in-between realm

The animation when Belos sees Flapjack and grows angry again is just *chefs kiss*

There should be a spin-off where it’s next summer and all of Luz’s friends are spending the summer in the human realm!!!

When it comes to spin offs I want the adventures of Vee, with her and her camp friends going on adventures involving magic creatures who got into the human realm by sneaking through the portal door (or like the talking rats, just accidentally created by eda in her adventures in the human realm), with the show ending with the camp friends finding out who Vee really is (maybe the museum guy returns or she has to use some of her magic to save them and it forces her to shapeshift to her true form) and they just don't care cause she has been a great friend, giving Vee a much needed self esteem boost. A young eda series would be cool as well but I'm not really sure what can really be explored in that show that hasn't been done in the main show.

I'm in here late, but there's that theory that the Collector is merged with Luz which I believe you talked about in another video. Notice how the Collector keeps on mentioning "pinky promises" in a world where Luz had to teach them what high fives were. The Collector also has a sort of childlike, unquestioning sense of innocense. I think this supports that hypothesis that at the very least, some of Luz's essence is within the Collector. I think another interesting thing that the romantic part of me observed is how selfless Luz is beyond her relationship. Ngl, if my partner and I have the opportunity to escape to safety with some friends, I might stop for a moment, but when I see that the ground under me is shifting, that's when I'm calling it. I think Luz is really into Amity, but notice that she doesn't even think twice before leaving her for a larger cause which we see when she has Gus change her and Hunter's appearances so that she can save Eda and the CATS, and especially in King's Tide when the world around them is crumbling but she refuses to move. I think this episode provided support for a Luz+(dare I say) Belos (whose essence clearly remains) merger? Not sure about the Belos aspect still because the other half of the Collector's face looks more like an abomination but I'm not sure where else the lack of a conscience comes from. I also feel like it would support Willow's maybe hint-maybe joke that the Emperor was just a mirror reflecting society

I hate how when the hexside gang was at camilas doorstep no one ever talks about how sweet it was for hunter comforting Gus with a shuttle side hug it was a good thing in there friendship path you know 🥰

I wish Disney just let the creator tell the story at their own pace with the episodes they need to do it, but they're really doing a great job telling what they can in the time they have.

I hypothesized that king wasn’t the reincarnation of bill per say but bill before he became bill cipher. If you remember the poem the axolotl made “sixty degrees that comes in threes, watches from within birch trees, misses home and can’t return, says he’s happy, he’s a liar, blame the arson for the fire, if he wants to shirk the blame, he’ll have to invoke my name, one way to absolve his crime, a different form a different time” the collector has cosmic level power much like bill and king is the one who released him causing the destruction of the boiling isles, not literal arson but the same principle.

One of the parts that hits hard is the Titan Hunters episode where King even says... That he knew how these stories went and that one day she would go back to the human world while he would be left behind in the demon world so he was trying to get used to the day that it would happen. Only in this case it was king letting her escape as he chose to stay behind to give them a chance to escape.

the thing about Belos surviving on earth is that maybe the sigils engraved on his body will dissappear, just like the sigils Luz tried to use against Lilith, and maybe that could return him to normal health, cause maybe the sigils stopped him from getting old but at the cost of the stability of his body and the need to consume titan magic from the palismans... if he was complete and not a droplet of sludge tho
