First KCD was doing about 100 people, 11 was only in the beginning.

Yes, Dan Vávra (first dev in this video) is the guy who wrote story for Mafia 1 and base of story from second Mafia game, but 2K Czech didnt agree with him about his story of Mafia 3, that why he left the company. Actually in time of development Mafia 1, it wasnt 2K Czech already, but independent company Illusion Softworks. Dan Vávra had idea about KCD, but he had not money, but core of Warhorse found investor (czech businessman Bakala), they made first KCD, and after 2-4 years the company was sold to gaming giant Koch Media (Deep Silver). Btw. Bows are pretty easy in KCD, if you have high level of this, same like you spoke about combat. Henry is nobody, you must learn everything. Edit: Combat in KCD2 will have only 4 sides of attack (not 5 like in first KCD), devs want makes combat easier in base for begginers, but more deep (combs, tricks etc) for advanced players. Devs said it for czech gaming journalists. Vortex or Indian, i dont remember which one.

Thanks for the history. I knew some of it, but couldn’t remember names… it was all off the top of my head. Mafia 3 might have turned out better if he had written it, but I didn’t like how linear the mafia games were… Preferred the Godfather game. As with getting better at the bow… you have to use it often and with how terrible I am with it, I died too often for it to be worth it for me. I just went all in with sword or mace. I’m thinking of replaying it on here ahead of the launch of KCD2 as well as police simulator patrol officers with an expansion coming for that.

@@ChiefHalf-Squatch yes, lets go, hardcore is pretty good, no fast travel is a little annoying, but will fully learn combat, cuz u must make defense by move of NPCs, not by green icon of shield. Actually by moves its more accurate and earlier, when you learn it. Best for hitting counterstrike. Or you can try everywhere wanted run with goal "never be in prison". Pretty funny, to sneak into Rataj Castle, hand over the quest to a character who is looking for you and wants to arrest you. :D Its possible end game like that.

What Dan Vávra said that they only started with 11 people is misunderstood. 11 people didn't do KCDI. The team grew over the years and the development of the first game was completed with 130 people.

The "gun" in quesiton is one of the earliest handheld firearms called "píšťala", which was a brand new thing (hussites will later use it to great effect), it was extremely slow and cumbersome of course.

I also saw gun with hook thats "hákovnice" used by hussites as well mostly on those carts.

@@SainsSDR3SD Yep, that one was too heavy to hold in hands in most situations so they usually rested it on the sides of their war wagons, it had a hook ("hák") pointing downwards for better stabilization, hence the name hákovnice.

Well they started KCD1 with 11 people, by the release they had little over 100 people. They started shti one at 100 ans domething people and now they are 250 people company. He didn't want to say how big teams did each game, but how much they grown. They grow continuously during developoment of both games. Also they are not independent anymore. After succes of KCD1 Embracer bough them with good terms.

Father Goodman saying the prayer and I think there might be someone famous in KCD2 a general that has never been defeated and had only one eye. But at the end he was blind. He matches the guy Henry duels against and gives Sir Capon a drink and is fighting alongside Henry. His favorite weapon is in his hand or at his side at all times.

Newly, the fight should not start from a five-pointed star, but from a four-pointed one. This should make it easier. There should be more combos.

It will also depend on PC quality… mine isn’t bad, but it’s no powerhouse either… so not sure how stable it’ll run. We’ll see when the recommended specs come out.

@@ChiefHalf-Squatch KCD1 doesn't need a great computer to run well. My low/mid-range PC with specs from 2019, aka GTX 2060 and Ryzen 5 3600X, runs KCD1 at 60 FPS in the middle of nowhere, 45 FPS in the middle of Rattay (max settings in 1440p w/ HD texture pack). Just lowering "postprocess quality" and "shader quality" to high instead of very high gives an extra 5 - 10 FPS depending on location. And freesync/g-sync makes it feel even smoother. I hope KCD2 isn't that much more demanding, though Kuttenberg might be. edit: I can see three negatives with PS5: - Fewer ways to fix the game if something game-breaking or really annoying happens (this was a big problem with KCD1 on consoles) - Lack of mod support - Less options to fine tune quality/performance (this might not count if it runs perfectly at 60 FPS)

Well a lot people telling me that on console is terrible when you go lockpicking PC is more controlable by them.

My PC can't even play it I have played it on console don't know how lockpicking is on PC on console is harder if on hardcore with all bad perks
