Just to clarify something. There was like 11 people developing KCD1, AT THE BEGINING. :D By the end of the development, there was around 100 people working on it. So still quite an expansion to 250, but not 20 times bigger. :D

In the trailer, we saw that Henry was injured. It wouldn't surprise me if that occurs in the beginning. Maybe the training section will be Henry getting back into the swing of things. That way, things will make sense as opposed to the first game where Henry was an illiterate farm boy, and we had to learn how to do everything. In the second he knows how to do all of those things. He is a knight now so it would make sense if the training section was him recovering from an injury and trying to learn how to swing a sword again, etc? Idk bro lol

I'm really pissed off by these journalist criticising not including people of colour as having an agenda when putting people of color into this historical setting would be just a political agenda. First things first, Warhorse studios wanted to make a fiction story based on real historical era with as much historical accuracy as possible. I'm from the Czech republic and there is no chance that any other race than caucasian would appear here until 20th century. There are really no historical depictions even of traders visiting or slaves of color being here (no slavery on this territory in the modern history), they just didn't travel here, because there was literally no reason and it just doesn't make any sense. Anyways a nice video, I'm really happy that a new game is coming out even though I knew about it some time as my friend is working in Warhorse :p it's nice to see these places that you know from real life coming alive in this period of time. The developers are really trying to depict the towns and villages in very realistic way and many of the buildings are still standing in some form on the same place to this day.

I hope they make it so Henrys armor stays on in cutscenes and doesnt completely change obviously for certain ones he should take off his gloves and helmet but not all his armor I dont think

Other ethnicities dont have to mean Black or asian. I Can also be german, polish or even austrian and that is not historically inaccurate

After the First few hours of playing KCD 1, I had my money ready already for KCD 2!!!!!!

Assuming since we’re moving to a bigger and richer city I think we’ll see a lot more diverse armor, one of my complaints in the last game was the lack of helmets but considering it takes place in a smaller rural area it makes sense, I’m also praying they make polearms actually viable

I was just in the middle of replaying KCD and BAM, they announced the second one... Crazy. But I am absolutely stoked for this, one of my fav AA games and I hope to see it thrive for years to come

There was way less than a hundred men in battle in KCD1. More like 20. It was engine limitations

Ok we did have huge battles I mean the biggest battle in Skyrim you had 12 people on you, here it was 100 agaisnt 80 thats pretty huge compared to any other RPG

I would love to see a character import function, where you can import your character w/ his skill points, and to some extent the choices you made being reflected in the new story. Ill play it either way, but that would be the cherry on top for me.

after KCD1 I think that we dont need big battles. Like, you play just for one man, so there is no point for big battles where you cannot rly do something

I heard we now have the ability to raise our helmet visor, which is great...but what I really want is to be able to raise Henry's hood...and I want to see random people with there hoods up also. There are so many hoods in Kingdom Come and yet not a single person wears them up. Surely it wasn't just a fashion accessory in medieval times. It must of had some practical purpose? In the original KCD trailer, Henry had his hood up. So I really hope this is implemented in the new game seeing as they've said they're now able to make the game they always wanted. Fingers crossed.

Regarding Henry's skillset and following on from KC:D... A well used trope in that regard is the "Player character gets hurt, and needs to spend time healing" to represent a time when the action moves slow enough that it allows new players to catch up as it were. It was used to some effect in the first Darksiders game with War slowly getting back to full strength. However they're doing it, I'm excited for this game regardless!

Loved the first game, I just hope the combat is much more smoother fighting multiple enemies whilst difficultly as makes sense was also really clunky with switching between targets, so I hope that is improved I also hope for us to have companions this time round having someone to watch me back will be very handy xD

I sure hope there is somekind of party system where you can take a couple of your friends with you when you are roaming. Would make those outnumbered fights more fun and immersive. Also I hope that we get some kind of a fief to govern and there is actually some kind of quests or maybe government duties there in addition to the money sink. I hope we get some details about gameplay and content soon, all though I'm hyped already. A beautiful reveal of a game and it looks amazing.

Yeah Im worried for my PC, one of the major battles, the one in Pribyslavitz, already kicked my PC and myself in the guts (indicating an upgrade).

If Kuttenberg is so big that it needs its own map, how should I imagine the outside map? Will it only be one side of Kuttenberg that is visible (like you can only travel to everything south of Kuttenberg) or how would that work? Because if the city is so big that it needs a seperate map, you probably can't just walk around it like Rattay. Does anyone know this?

Yeah I hope the larger map isn't a problem. Often development studios do that just for marketing. But one thing i liked in the first game was I got know the map. The amount of times I'd run past the hunting camp you go to with Hans Capon helped ground the game

Man with this increased size I really hope they do a way with the hidden timers on quest/missions. Side quests that's fine, but main quests based on how much time has passed in general is annoying, really stops you from wanting to explore (which sounds like it would suck even more given the map size)

I vaguely remember them saying about the first game that the layered armour system was a pain to develop and at times they regretted it. I hope it's still in the new game. I hope they improve the inventory as well, being able to tag the items that you want to keep would make selling the unwanted gear so much easier.

For exaple Rattay its 300 m long Kuttenberg is 800 if you looking on historial maps of that towns whit city walls but Kuttenberg was been more wire that Rattay so it will be min 3 or 4 times bigger by city area

By the way, in the czech interview by Vortex they said that the game has two maps, the first one is smaller than KCD 1 and the second one, Kuttenberg is similar in size to KCD 1. So it's not really a map twice as big as KCD 1, rather it's two separate maps

As a little rat of a thief Henry, I def found it weird that the ai wouldn’t start to realize how every time I was around, shit would go missing and people would wake up with the last image in their mind was of some dude choking them out in the middle of the night and connect the dots lol. Honestly made it way too easy to become filthy rich in the game.

So ofcouse in the first game my Henry became a super rich, super skilled killing machine who runs a sucsessful town. But i personally wont mind it if the second game kind of goes, 'no he didn't'. And you start the game with henry being kind of average. Realistically, the first game takes place over a couple of months and yes henry passed a trial by fire but he still has a lot to learn. Personally it always irritated me that Henry can beat Hans in the duel, i think it would have been better if Hans wooped him

Even in today's Prague, you can go for days without seeing a non-white person. Not to mention the countryside, not to mention 600 years ago when Charles university was hardly taking any exchange students from Ottoman Empire, Ming Empire, Kilwa sultanate or Kingdom of Chimor. So expecting POC in a medieval game from Bohemia is insanity that never stops infuriating me.

I for one am ready to pay 100$ for this game although i know they won't overprice it, if they did i would still get it, they just command quality and authenticity, something almost all AAA titles have lost

Even if they go to the bigger city, it's still medieval central Europe. We have little diversity now and before there were even scarcer. As diversity were other slavs, German, Hungarians and maybe Romani and Jews. Even traders would be more local.

I've been playing the entire Unreal Tournament Series recently and I played some KCD today and it felt like a game for children. It doesn't even feel like a game, it feels like a very slow moving interactive movie. The Truth is that you can't actually get a better game than Unreal Tournament, it's a metaphysical truth. It's the ultimate game in this or any reality and in any point in time. We have a need for narrative that leads us to explore these large open worlds at a snails pace to actually feel like you're living in the dark ages but really it's just Unreal Tournament with less features. I'm not saying this is a bad game, this is my favorite developer, Daniel Vavra, he's is destined to be remembered as one of the best game writers, but what I'm saying is a truth about gaming and the universe that I learnt from taking a lot of psychedelics.

Kuttenberg isnt a capital city. It was the most valuable city in czechia but its not a capital. Prague is capital.
