@@capcorgiTV From what I heard, KCD 1 Rattay is a small street if placed within Kuttenberg Imagine the size of the centrapolis

One thing I loved about KCD, if you get caught stealing enough, guards will randomly stop and search you on a regular basis.

i still cannot fathom how KCD was their first game. i put 70 hours in THIS WEEK got the title screen last night.. and guess what. i dont even have HALF of the acheivements. and theres even more game..after you finish the game. KCD2 will be game of the year. if its not..we fucked up. not the Devs.. US

I love, how they made thit 15 minutes long introducing video instead of 3 minites cinematic trailer. And I trust in Vavra...he never missed (Mafia 1,2, hiddwn and dangerous)

YEAH! It was such a unique way to intro the game, I loved it! Pax Dei did something similar-ish (they had just an intro talking about their passion for the time period, while in a *i think* Swedish castle), it was really cool! I've not played Vavra's other games but now I need to put them on the list! Tell me about them!

@@capcorgiTV Hope it will get fixed soon... You will find out that since the release the KCD 1 was repaired and balanced a bit more. Optimization is a bit better so you should be able to play it on ultra on medium machine.

As I said in my previous post, I started playing it again as soon this sequel trailer was revealed, and I got blown away how much they worked out all the bugs since I originally played it exactly 6 years ago. Also with mods on Nexus gaming it kicks it on yet another level. Can't wait for KCD2.

i hope that if this is their last kingdom come title, they do other historical medieval games in other locations, they can definately be a leader in this niche genre.

If they really want continue in this kind of game, they simple can push another game in time forward. The Hussites wars are near and some of the characters from KCD participated on it too, include Hanz Capon. So in "KCD3" we can play like Henrys son, meet older versions of Henry and Hanz, see civil war in Bohemia, Sigismund crusaders and maybe Hanz on the different side of conflict than Henry. But who knows if developers will want continue in this kind od game.

True Gustav! Great ideas all, and I think I'd be ready for them to move on to a completely different style/genre if they wish, they've definitely earned a ton of my respect!

literally walking through the woods makes me happy (world building immersion wise) like.. you actually see human and animal traces from the past.. tree's are felled in areas that make sense.. cities and buildings are always placed near fresh water... these things make me beyond happy.. and ive never felt it in any other games besides this and RDR2.. and it seems like they played RDR2 before making this :p

the dlc "pay to win" stuff in KCD is sick.. Simply because its not given to you.. you gotta work for it through treasure maps and bandits and shit... like. thats PROPER pay to win

Imagine what they could do with other locations and historical times... maybe egypt.... sumeria, ... maybe India..... ooooo. Love how commited to accuracy and immersion.

Just a little warning. It takes some patience and drill to handle it. Especially the combat. I mean its not totally garbage broken frustrating wanna-be hardcore, but sometimes you will probably get frustrated because for newcomers its not easy to get used to it. But once you give it enough time and get there, the game becomes so rewarding and I can say it will be totally worth it. You will probably struggle so be patient. Give it a proper try and try to actually learn it.

@@CaptainGarisen-bl3vp agreed the only issue i have with the combat is that you have to talk to captain Bernard after learning the basics to even use the other combat mechanics, and the game doesn't tell you this or hint to it. asides from that the combat is amazing.

Pc version I found trouble free..... and cheap as dirt now on steam. Man, every accomplishment feels so well earned.

@@capcorgiTV I think my fave parts are pretty much up to first major battle with runt. after that is pretty much near the same, but that feeling of accomplishment building Henry up to that point was very strong, and of course, I have a few save games for the tournements. Loved every interaction with Hans and father Godwin of course. Shoot it's pretty hard to pick any favourite part, the whole thing is wonderful.

Dude, first game was jagged and buggy, but let me tell you, with patches they did through time they really polished it, and with mods and ReShade shader game looks beatiful and photorealistic with gfx effects you can get from it. I started playing and even combat is great now with mods removing locked down feel to it, its fucking awesome, and sequel will eat babies

HAHA well said man and I didn't try any mods at all yet but I will have to look into it for sure! Heck, when I finally restart the save file (like i said in the vid, I played it last like 6 years ago so I no longer have that save, and only got 15-20 hours in), I'll have to post it up here! "eat babies" is a fantastic turn of phrase and I'll remember it, thank you man for the awesome comment
