@@hottincup dueling was brutal, especially in armor. If you flew to the ground, you were dead with a dagger in your throat in no time. Plus armored fight was very different compared to the one we see in KCD: it was all clinches and half swording, with both the knights trying to enter in the gaps of the armor (neck, under the armpits...)

Yes, or neck. You can also cut the artery on the hip to make him bleed to death (he can't help that wound) or stab him under the knee to make him less able to walk (it doesn't kill tho)

It would be cool if you could activate an execution similar to the mercy kill on knocked down enemies, except maybe there's a chance you aren't successful

Yeah, but grappling would be hard to show, but far from impossible. It would give more purpose to carrying daggers though

He poisons his blade and you’re not limited to tourney armour/weapons - I guess the justification the devs had was he thinks he can beat you with no rules

I fought three peasants and had great feints on the first two and clinched the third. Couldn't believe it, fight was over in 20 seconds. Then I ran into two peasants, the first one masterstruck me and the second one clobbered my from behind six times in a row in about 6 seconds. The end. Load save.

lmao he ambushed me but unlucky for him I’m a dirty fighter myself, jokes on him all my weapons I carry are poisoned.

idk why this fight was so random to me, I didnt know about this and I got dropped on the ground by the string. I was jumpscared and even worse I was in my stealth gear so almost no armour but I just master stroke him the first time he hit me then spammed slashes and he just dropped like a fly.

@@Brother_O4TS cus u were fast travelling. I was riding at full speed and couldnt stop even if I had noticed the string. its meant to unhorse u and let black peter ambush u. but that didnt work out too well

Lol I sold all his stuff cause it wasn’t better than what I could buy at the armorsmith in rattay once you learn Lazarus potion you can easily end up with over 25k groschen.

You can find a dark plate jacket on high level enemies around Skalitz

If you wear plate armor that cover most of your body parts its harder being poison unless you run out stamina

​@@ilayohana3150 not exactly, when i was fighting against him recently, he hit me when i was in my plate armour and still i got poisoned, so i think it's quite randomize.

@@filipzodzik8404 maybe you were low or your stamina was?

if you get hit although you failed to block the attack, if see spark on your screen that mean it only scratch somewhere on your plate armor which function the same as you block the attack normally, else you'll get poison for sure.

level up defense and warfare.

damn devs just cant win, either people complain that enemies do nothing and wait their turn or complain that enemies do what is realistic and go behind you for easy stabs

yea i had that problem aswell. the solution is: git gud

@@chocobons Its not that they try to get behind you, its that camera gets a seizure snapping around all over the place from one enemy to another. I had to start locking it and guessing when to block because i know as soon as i unlock it henry will start snapping his neck and i wont be able to see a thing let alone fight.

@@Rushi486 when u stop "locking" an enemy it activates the tackle attack on yourself. That mechanic that lets you deestroy people running away and that enemies use on you when you try to run away? Well, it is indeed buggy and in fights vs multiple enemies and/or dogs, when u unlock for a moment, there is usually someone on one side or behind u and they insta activate the tackle attack, that makes your camera spin and face the guy and what usually happens is that another enemy activates tackle instatly again and you turn again and... you see where this goes So, just avoid fights that would be unwinnable for even a well armed knight and if not, keep your shield high, look for tight spaces and dont shake your camera or it will unlock

@@chocobonsIf there was a better way to smoothly switch where I’m locking, the combat would be so much better. But now I just gotta deal with the fact that my eyes are glued to one target as I let another guy run INTO me.
