This fight was fun. I had headcracker. I did a riposte and smacked him on the head with my shortsword and he knocked out immediately. I then looted all of his gear and then he got up and tried to fist fight. I put my sword away and then knocked him out again using my fists. I decided to leave him there since I humiliated him and I really hope he shows up again. Best fight and laugh I have had game is 10/10

This combo works when using longsword and shield, but it requires learning the "blunt strike" combo. It might be a bug. It's the only combo which you can use with a longsword and shield.

There are few ways to ensure combo executed successfully, from low to highest probability 1. When opponent weapon is in the opposite direction of your current weapon position, for example Half Sword start at lower left, so when your opponent weapon is above or right it's the best time to execute the combo, even better if you do feint. 2. During animation where your opponent switching weapon position or attacking from state 1, the frame window is tricky, you want to start as soon his hand start to move It always better not to attack from disadvantage position because this always let your opponent do perfect block or riposte, which let you into prolong and useless movement during the fight For people who are not reading discriptions, i stumbled upon it by surprise :D

I have been farming Black Peter's gears for money. Never kill him. Always sneak behind him while he's sitting down and knock him out. Then loot, sell to Peshek. The only tedious thing is you always have to go down th slopes from Upper Rattay or along the slopes of the hill from before the mill after the bathhouse to be able to sneak behind him. 2024, still works 😂

Feinting seems broken in Kingdom Come. Early on when you're just learning, you will have to switch the direction at least once to tap the AI to try and defend from that direction before properly executing a feint. Weak enemies will telegraph their openings. But as you get into regular play, the AI seem to not even bother opening itself up for you to exploit. You switch, it immediately switches with you, no chance. I also despise how quickly you have to parry to perform a proper riposte, instead of executing the move with a second button. I just can't do it. My reaction time just isn't that good.

Thanks for the guide! For others in the future, when in the trading interface you can just use the arrows in the top right near their head to quickly search through all available traders, instead of closing the menu each time and clicking on the next person to open their trades. Then when you find someone good just remember their name and look for it in the sidebar.

I see you have Henry's carry capacity tweaked. I have no objection to that. But I do think you're packing more armor and weapons than you're ever going to equip. That much excess is just inefficient clutter. Maybe move some to the horse to avoid all that scrolling. It helps a lot to apply Bane poison to arrows and weapons. You were smart to get up on the wagon to avoid melee.

Pity, on hardcore enemies rarely parry your strikes. Even pesants perfect parry or masterstrike you on the first or second hit. Pulling off a combo is akin to a miracle.

Not in hardcore, and not when using the right mods. (No slow mo, harder combat etc) To hit a riposte (you and pc) is insanely hard. Pc is better at perfect blocking (riposte timing is now the new perfect block timing with the mods) Leads to awesome sword duels. Have to really earn a combo. Duels are also lengthy when armoured unless you're using a mace. And maces suck at ripostes (so no more easy one shot riposte to the face)

I guess that's better than master striking through it. Less borrow...
