Larian and Warhorse - what keeps my faith in the industry

Dear Warhorse Studios I'm about to turn 30 and I am not a gamer, History buff yes, but not a gamer. I used to play video games as a teenager but at a certain point I just lost all interest in them and did not find them enjoyable anymore. The last game that I played all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed was Assassin's Creed brotherhood When it first came out almost 15 years ago, my brother gave me his copy of Kingdom come Deliverance And he told me that it was just a little bit too difficult for him but I could give it a try if I wanted considering I Love late medieval history and I've got to say it is the most enjoyable game I've ever played in my life. Last night I just beat the four bandits outside of the windmill without trying to cheat it like most people seem to do. I took them on in a straight up toe to toe fight 1v4 and I beat them and it was the most gratifying feeling I've ever felt in a video game. So thank you! War horse for making such a wonderful game

I don't think anybody can fathom how much i crave for this game! I have played KCD1 on playstation 4 and 5 and on the series X in multiple playthroughs, got all trophies including all dlc and spend somewhere around 1200 hours in total in this game that honestly is the best game ever made in my opinion when it comes to Story, immersion and gameworld, and i had a lot of cool games in my time. one of the first truly fascinating ones was the first zelda game in 1986! And of course i loved the elder scrolls games and so on, but nothing ever made me so emotionally attached like KCD and so i had my brother try it who loves it now of course and my kids also started their first playthrough just a few days ago! I just really want to thank Daniel Vavra and all the people at Warhorse for creating this first masterpiece and that they keep up the passion for what seems to be an even better Part two?!? Sorry for this long comment, but since i realised that a lot of people at Warhorse seem to read the comments and love to hear how people think about their work i thought i had to give something back for those many hours of finest entertainment they gave me with KCD! Can't wait for part 2, keep up the great work!

The fact this game is coming this year is crazy 😮

One of the things I loved most about KCD was, after finishing, being able to watch the documentary interviews with the development team, as well as clips of the actors speaking about their characters and showing off the performance capture workflow. I would love nothing more than another full blown documentary to watch for the development process of KCD2.

Whenever a stupid news about sh*tty companies like Ubisoft, EA or Activision makes me mad I remember we still have ones like Warhorse, Larian and a few more. CDPR too tbh, they did some mistakes during Cyberpunk 2077 release but they still turned that game into a masterpiece. These few European companies are the only good ones we have now. Hope they never change like big Western and Asian companies.

Guys so much love from Germany. Im a 30 years old dude who in general enjoys to play computer since childhood but it got a bit boring lately. KCD1 was the last time a game really immersed me well into a digital world. It felt so freaking alive and Im so thankful you keep going and probably produce another even more polished masterpiece. So hyped. I also hope that this time you include proper diversity since everybody knows that medieval czech historically was full of people of color haha. Much love guys x3

I don't know why, but throughout my life I've always imagined myself living in the era in which KCD takes place and then after a long time I found this game at the beginning of the Microsoft Store gamepass. At the time I thought, man, this aspect is interesting to me. I'll test it and see what I feel. Result: one of the most intense immersions I've ever had and today it's one of the games I most like and admire. Congratulations on the production. In many aspects, it was clear that KCD 1 was created with great care. And I have faith that 2 will be no different. Thanks.
