This game is delightful. Love the metaprogression. So much to do here and this is just the demo. Thanks for the episodes!

One of the most important gets is the hunting lodge. Animals give +2 exp a day, or +5 if it happens to be the person's favorite animal. So it really helps. And you just can't realistically use bread. Requiring 1 farmer, 1 miller and 1 baker, plus the 3 different large buildings and the well. It takes basically 4 whole days just to set it up. +3 exp a day is good, but if you have fallen behind and all of your guys are dying all the time, it does you no good. Plus you have no gold to upgrade your strongest guy because there is no room for the building. It is just bad. The Demo only has 2 bosses so far before it cuts out on you, and even if you do everything right, you still end up with 81 glory and 400 gold at most as far as I can tell. You can probably get more through the curse meta upgrade, but increasing the difficulty by 1 day is brutal. Making day 3 as hard as day 4 is insane. Even if you have all of the other meta upgrades possible, it just doesn't help. With the restricted map, the meta upgrades offered aren't enough to challenge the curse, even if you unlock all of them.
