Friendly reminder for people going into critical mode for kh2. Holding the left trigger will let you control your command menu with the right stick. Clicking the stick while holding the trigger will act as the confirm button aswell

@@GarrisonBurrowsMoving around while scrolling the command menu at the same time. The fact that they removed this in KH3 is the reason I didn't play it. Scrolling with the d-pad never felt right to me.

Oh yeah! I’ve seen the 3 together for a while now but I guess it’s been mostly (if not always) virtual. Love that Hobbz and Vegeta have been commentating on this game at GDQ events for 8 years (I think).

Gonna parrot what the couch said early on here, KH2 randomizer is extremely fun. There was a period a year ago where a group of friends and I would do a race every night. So mechanically sound that it's fun to see how many bosses you can take down with either more or less kit than you'd normally have

My favourite bit about the KH2 speedrun is that you use basically all the mechanics. Summons, limits, drive forms, most of the magic. There isn’t just one thing you get that breaks the game.

Sad I had to miss this while live, but had work this morning so I had to go to sleep. Always glad to see Kingdom Hearts at GDQ and Ninten is in my top 3 favorite speedrunners. Also at 1:17:28 Hey that's THE Niosai. Highly recommend checking out his channel. He's doing a huge Kingdom Hearts retrospective right now.

So on one hand the Gummi skip mod is great for speedrunning by removing all the down time. On the other hand, it's bad for marathons because where do they put the Disney song singing incentives now? Great run but could use more Disney songs.

Even if KH2 wasn't one of my absolute favorite games of all time I'd still watch this just because Spike is on the couch. Absolutely the best commentator from any GDQ run I've watched. Haven't watched this one yet but he never disappoints.

To those who don't realize how significant 1 Strength is in Kingdom Hearts Just played KH1 for my first time ever Struggled against Guard Armor, unable to beat it even after doing combos for a long time Grinded some XP to level up 1 time, and the only bonus? +1 Strength Immediately curbstomped guard armor in about 15 seconds

COM is pretty boring for half the run. 358 is an awful game with no tech. DDD has way too much rng and for the most part isn't as popular. 0.2 is a very short game, but could still be entered if someone wanted to enter it. KH3 should be on this list. The rest of the games after KH3 aren't very good for this for other reasons

Tbf DDD is spam Ballonra and 3 is spam Firaga with the cufflinks and occasional link summons sprinkled in. Then the DS games are loooong and don't have large communities.
